Jiang Fei did not know when the boss would gain another stack, and he definitely did not want to know. A second stack might already be too much. This was bad news!

A minute later, at 22% Health Points, the boss gobbled down another cadaver.

Flesh Heap (2 stacks): Attack increased by 10%! Defense increased by 10%!

Jiang Fei’s Health Points plummeted sharply!
“Cutie, you can’t take too many of those hits. We can’t keep up with the healing!” Rosette Miaomiao called out.
“Damn it! If I had been more prepared, I would have hammered together some metal shield!”
Jiang Fei helplessly stared at his Health Points that was leaking out like water. He regretted taking things for granted. He had originally gone out to the field for some light grinding, and had dressed lightly. All he had on was a full set of Level 10 Green Tier equipment. A shield was just slightly out of budget, but with it, he would not be so close to death!

“Fox, retreat. Healers, try to keep me in range of your healing. Let’s wipe those Rotten Meat out!” Jiang Fei called out.
The boss’ combination attack was Jiang Fei’s current lifeline. If its onslaught had gone on uninterrupted, Jiang Fei would have already fallen. At that moment, the boss’ Health Points had dropped to 20%. The combination skill was once again triggered. The boss stopped hammering on the little blacksmith, giving the three healers the room to catch up.

The boss’s Attack and Defense had increased once again. Jiang Fei’s Health Points rose and fall like a spasmic rollercoaster ride. It was mind-blowing!
“Everything you got!”
Jiang Fei was at the end of his rope. He was out of options, and could only try taking down the boss before it took him down.
“Ow…”
Finally, after a final Great Smash, the powerful Demon Lord let its arms hang loosely by its sides. It had been thoroughly defeated, its Health Points completely emptied out. On the other hand, Jiang Fei did not even have 300 Health Points left. One more Great Smash would have taken him out, even if the Healers worked over time.

The boss fell, like the mountain of meat that it was. The girls behind jumped and cheered for joy.
