After Wang Yi was done cleaning up, he went to the bedroom and called Lee Mei over. He asked Lee Mei to put on the camouflage clothes while he put on the blood-stained camouflage clothes.

After putting on her clothes, she carried the iron rod on her back. When she looked back, Lee Mei wasn't wearing the camouflage clothes. Instead, she was holding the camouflage clothes and looking at Wang Yi with a puzzled expression.

Lee Mei asked as she saw Wang Yi looking at her curiously.

”Wang Yi, where are we going?”

”Go out and kill the zombies!”

”Why? Wouldn't it be better if we waited here for the national rescue? Why would I risk my life to kill a zombie? ”

Lee Mei had seen how terrifying a zombie was. Even though her husband was beheaded by Wang Yi without much effort, the two zombies downstairs almost took Lee Mei's life.

While Wang Yi was fighting with the zombie, Lee Mei was also watching from afar. Although Wang Yi killed the zombie in the end with ease, it could be seen that Wang Yi had expended a lot of effort and was breathing heavily as he climbed the stairs.

”The country has been paralyzed for two to three months. Even if you recover, you won't be able to save yourself. If you don't want to go, then stay here, but I can't promise you that I won't come back!”

Wang Yi's words were actually scaring Lee Mei. Since he had already made up his mind to take her away, Wang Yi wouldn't give her up unless there were special circumstances.

After Lee Mei returned home, she took out a sheet from her bedroom and gently covered her husband's corpse.

She locked the door, threw the key down the window at the side of the corridor, and clapped her hands as if nothing had happened. Her face returned to its former radiant look, lighting up Wang Yi's eyes.

Wang Yi covered his forehead with one hand and said to Lee Mei's back with a helpless expression.

Lee Mei immediately turned around and ran behind Wang Yi. She smiled embarrassedly as her face blushed.

Wang Yi walked upstairs as he spoke. Lee Mei followed him closely until they reached the top floor.

All the buildings in Wang Yi's district were on the 18th floor, while Wang Yi and Lee Mei's were on the 12th floor. The floors were not high, so even Lee Mei who walked up to them were only slightly out of breath.
