”You still don't know if you can avoid the infection. For the sake of everyone and your daughter's safety, drive that car and follow us from behind. At night, if you are not infected and become a zombie, you should be able to survive. When the time comes, we will meet again!”

He also knew that Wang Yi was doing this for the sake of his daughter and everyone else. He silently turned around and walked towards the white car. There was a pool of dried blood beside the car and the key was also full of blood, as if telling how miserable the owner of the car was.

Lin Feng finally hit the car after a few tries.

Seeing Lin Feng had already started the car, Wang Yi and the others got on the truck with Lee Mei and Dr Shen.

When they were almost to the place where the bus stopped, Wang Yi stopped the truck and cut down the two zombies that were still inside the sweet bag. He immediately called for everyone to get out of the car and together they pushed the car that had already broken through the bridge into the river.

”Clang!”

Wang Yi pushed the car in front of him to the side and turned to Lee Mei.

”Where are we now? How far are we from Pukou?

Hearing Wang Yi's words, Lee Mei lowered her head to look at the map and said to Wang Yi.

”The one we just went to is the River Bridge Service Area. Another five kilometers or so will be the intersection between Stone Pond Road and the highway leading around the city. From there, we will reach the Pukou!”

After listening to Lee Mei's words, Wang Yi continued driving the truck. However, he would occasionally look at Dr Shen, who was sitting beside him.

After his conversation with Dr Shen just now, Wang Yi had a general understanding of the situation of those people in the carriage.

The two young nurses, the female was called Zhou Qing, and the male was called Zhang Ming. They were both college students who just came to the community hospital and were trapped in the hospital after the zombie outbreak.

Dr Shen's original name was Shen Li, from Jinling. He was originally the attending physician in the capital hospital, but later left his husband and returned to Jinling. He became a doctor in this hospital, and his daughter went to university in the capital.

”Wang Yi, you said that the apocalypse has broken out and that the majority of the world's people have turned into zombies. Every city has fallen, so what about the capital?”

Every time when Shen Li thought of her daughter still attending university in the capital, she felt worried. After chatting with Wang Yi just now, she felt that Wang Yi seemed to understand a lot about zombies, so she couldn't help but ask Wang Yi.

Wang Yi thought for a while and organized his thoughts so that Dr Shen wouldn't hear anything unusual.

”I feel like the capital, although there are a lot of people, after the apocalypse, there will be a lot of zombies, but the capital is after all, the center of politics, and the military force is the strongest in the country. Once the zombies break out, the fastest response should be the capital.”

”So I feel that as long as your daughter isn't directly infected by a zombie, the chances of her surviving should be higher!”

Dr Shen was smart. Even though Wang Yi was very careful, Dr Shen still felt that something was wrong.

Then how do you know that this disaster is global, and that these monsters are called zombies?

Shen Li stared at Wang Yi, trying to find some clues from Wang Yi's face.

Even though Shen Li was also close to forty years old, she was elegant and dignified. Her every movement could be seen that she was a cultured person, coupled with the fact that she was the attending physician in the capital hospital, she was able to maintain a calm demeanor at all times due to all the work she had done. It made people feel like she would notice the lie in front of her, making them feel guilty.

Even though Wang Yi had experienced a lot of ups and downs and witnessed many brutal and bloody scenes in his previous life, facing Shen Li who had just said a few words, Wang Yi did not know how to explain himself.

This had nothing to do with experience. However, there were some people who were born with an attitude that no one could refuse!
