Chapter 58 Such a disappointmen (1/2)

Roline was way to different from the way the world viewed her. she was one who couldn't express herself well in front of people. she always looked at her father whenever she faced something challenging.

Roline, Linda and Ami acted arrogant and unreachable. they seemed like stars in the sky for people to reach. but fellow students didn't get to know why , they concluded that the three were too proud and their disdain started from there on.

the three were only able to joke,laugh and play among themselves.

how does it look? the colour is amazing,right? Roline asked, she was excited at the sight of the ring on her finger. even Christina was speechless at the way Roline acted.

hmm, are you sure that you came for my opinion or to show off? Christina asked smilingly. she was happy to see Roline happy.

may I know whothis mindful person is?

Roline didn't answer, she only smiled and moved out of Christina's room. she got her phone and snapped her finger and sent the photo to An kai with a ”Thank you” below the photo.

An kai had gone to school and he had left his phone home. he was scared that people will look at him as he over checked his phone to see if he had any call or text from Roline.

Roline waited and waited for An kai's reply but it was no where to be seen, she later fell asleep while waiting with her phone in hand.

it was already 5 PM in the evening when the phone rang.

hello line, how are you doing? a young woman's voice was heard from the other hand. that's when Roline lowered her phone to look at her phone screen. it was Linda whom she hasn't talked to for months now but, she wasn't excited to talk to her. she picked up the phone thinking that An kai had called only to face such a disappointment.

am fine, how have you been these past few months? it seems you're turning all the continents down with your feet now. Roline said after a long silence.

am still waiting for the two of you to find your way out of those families and join me.

I have listed all the countries we're to visit. I was even planning to see if we can make a tour business so that we enjoy this with more benefits. what do you think? Linda said excitedly to Roline. but Roline wasn't in the mood to move along with her. she wanted so badly to hung up but thinking through the fact that she was the one who began this tour thing, shestill answered.

Linda, am really tired at the moment. I had a flight the previous day. my body hurts a lot.... let's talk about it in some few days to come, okay?

Roline put down her phone and headed into the bathroom. she looked at herself in the mirror for some time. she wanted to see if anything had changed on her but there was nothing visible. she bathed and headed down stairs for dinner.

the father-daughter pair sat near each other.

dear, did you call your husband? he has been calling me on a daily basis to ask whether you're fine.

he called but I was too sleepy to answer the call. Roline said without looking at her father.

don't you think you're too hard on him? he stays all alone but you still wait for him to call first.

hmm, it seems you're forgetting who your daughter is, but don't worry. I will head to Tria tomorrow morning and we shall never get back here so that I can keep him company, right dad?
