”Good one, Bro Bei! So cool!”
Hong Haier and NeZha were both unafraid of anything. When they saw Chen Xiaobei slap the director, they both clapped in glee.
Also unperturbed by what had just happened, Song Qincheng's lit up and she smiled.
”My dear husband, that was really impressive!”
Since being around Chen Xiaobei, she had seen thousands of people besiege a city, killing vampires within seconds, and the Tri-City Martial Art Competition.
In comparison to those, the scene before her was paltry–she was not, even in the slightest bit, intimidated.
”I will not allow anyone to talk about you like that because I know that you are a pure and innocent girl!” Chen Xiaobei said affectionately.
Song Qincheng was deeply touched. So, she tiptoed and whispered into Chen Xiaobei's ear, ”I don't want to be a little girl, I want to be your little woman!”
”Ah…”
Chen Xiaobei's could feel a tingle in his ears. He just wanted to do her right here.
Having caught his breath, Shi Haoxiang wasted no time letting out a loud howl, ”Urgh… Help! Help me… murder…”
And as one would expect, a crowd quickly gathered around them.
A few bodyguards clad in black stood by Shi Haoxiang, behind them were the actors and actresses of the musical. They must have had been on a break since everyone was idling before this and they had come over without a moment's delay to take stock of the situation.
”What happened?” Just then, a distinctive voice which startled the crowd came from behind.
It belonged to woman in her fifties. While she was plain-faced, she exuded an aura of excellence and her gaze conveyed wisdom.
She was a woman who had no need for an introduction – with just an utterance, she was able to terrify all those present一 she was Zhang Wen!
As she stood before them, everyone around her, even the CEO of the film base, Li Haopeng was overshadowed.
”Director Zhang, CEO Li! You came in the nick of time!” Shi Haoxiang wailed, ”Song Qincheng brought a wild man here to beat me up…look at my face…Not only am I bleeding, I've even lost some teeth…”
When he said that, every single person in the room fixed their eyes on Chen Xiaobei.
”Who the hell is that asshole? Is he deranged? He dared to hit Boss Shi!”
”Yeah, I know right! Not only is Boss Shi the big boss of the entertainment industry, the people behind him are even more powerful! This guy is dead!”
”Song Qincheng is also in deep shit! Hitting Boss Shi is like suicide!!”

The onlookers whispered amongst themselves and looked at Chen Xiaobei with contempt and ridicule.
”I think that there might be a misunderstanding here!” Li Haopeng said in an attempt to smooth things over.
”Misunderstanding? My teeth are missing, how could this be just a misunderstanding? Just look at this slap marks! Would you like to get a fingerprint?” Shi Haoxiang shouted, clearly enraged.
Li Haopeng was too startled to respond.
While he was acquainted with Chen Xiaobei, there was no evidence for him to build on. Hence, it rendered him powerless.
Zhang Wen, on the other hand, glanced at Chen Xiaobei and the boys, and asked, ”CEO Li, are they the ones you wanted to introduce me to?”
”Yes…” Li Haopeng nodded, looking rather distressed. ”Song Qincheng is the boss of Qincheng Entertainment Agency. She wanted to recommend these two young men to you.”
Shi Haoxiang broke in before Zhang Wen could continue, ”CEO Li! Don't blame me for not giving you face! Everyone in this circle knows that Director Zhang will not allow imperfections in her production! How dare you bring this piece of work to Director Zhang? Do you take her for a fool?”
”I… I didn't know that this would happen…” Li Haopeng frowned.
