Fu Sichen had insisted on staying in a hotel during the recent filming jobs.

One couldn’t imagine why, when the filming location was a three-hour drive away, he didn’t want to stay in a hotel; but now when the drive was just half an hour away, he insisted on staying in one.

Oh, because the filming location was near the hospital. He even selected the hotel closest to the hospital.

It was no more than 200 meters away, and a costly five-star hotel.

To save on cost, the filming crew had selected a normal hotel. Wang Youquan didn’t want to kick up a fuss.

“What are you thinking?” Fu Sichen flicked an AMEX Black Card at Wang Youquan. Carrying the Persian cat in his arms, he had his usual icy look. “I’ll pay for myself.”

That silenced Wang Youquan.

He looked at Fu Sichen and the cat walking towards the hospital and couldn’t even begin to understand. Since when was his Best Actor on such close terms with the enemy’s potential Best Actor?

The candidate was still in a coma.

They had hit a patch of tough luck. Xiao Nian had announced that Pei Zhen was recuperating and would be making a comeback soon.

But who knew how long ‘soon’ was going to be?

The entertainment line was different from other industries. If they wanted to go far, the celebrities had to work hard to maintain their popularity and to clinch advertisement deals. Without enough exposure, no amount of planning would help.

Ever since the accident, Pei Zhen’s popularity was indeed plunging. Apart from the die-hard fans, many of the other fans had already started to move on.

Wang Youquan couldn’t help but give another sigh.

Forget it, if Fu Sichen wanted to visit, let him do so. No matter what, they were childhood buddies once. Even if they were enemies, they shouldn’t hate each other completely.
