83 Chapter 83: Are You Kidding Me? (1/2)

That evening, the foot had festered.

Once everyone was ready, they started shooting.

Today's scenes involved Becky, who had quarreled with Sam, escaping from the cottage, and meeting up with her elder sister, Angela, on the way. Angela was envious of Becky, for having Sam's love. As a result, Angela mocked her.

”Oh, you dare to escape from me! What are you afraid of?” Angela said, reaching out to get a hold of Becky, who was riding nearby on her horse.

Just as Lily reached out, Kylie narrowed her eyes expectantly and leaned over to one side.

In the camera's blind spot, Kylie's leg clamped the horse's stomach. Lily missed her catch and instantly fell against the horse.

The big white horse made a loud, frightening noise, as its front hooves rose high in the air.

It turned around, in the same place, on its hind legs, almost throwing Kylie from its back.

”Kylie!” Julian was worried. The trainer beside him witnessed the scene and was shocked. He rushed over in alarm.

”Lily, what's wrong with you? Didn't you read the lines carefully? You were supposed to shake her clothes gently. But you hit the horse instead?”

Although Julian was a harsh director, he rarely told someone off so openly. But this time, he really just couldn't stand it.

He never interfered with other people's personal affairs, but he couldn't tolerate someone purposely making trouble during filming.

”I...” Lily was also puzzled and scared. She had just used all of her strength, but she still hadn't expected the horse to react so strongly.

But she continued to make excuses for herself: ”I hit the horse by mistake! I'm not the one who scared it like that. It must have been Kylie!”

Unfortunately, Lily already had a bad reputation. Besides, she hadn't gotten along well with Kylie since her first day on the crew. So now everyone was on Kylie's side.

With the horse trainer's help, Kylie finally comforted the horse. She dismounted, and her legs shook uncontrollably. Her face looked full of grievances.

”Director, I'm fine, really. My legs are just weak. I can continue after the break. It's not Lily's fault. Maybe the horse is new at this, and insecure. Maybe it scared many people.

She had a sensible and considerate look as she spoke to the Director. Her colleagues, who, at first, had wanted to laugh at her fear, now began to sympathize with her.

William sat in front of the monitor, one hand on his forehand, and the other covering his smile.

This woman was truly a destroyer of flowers, who specialized in destroying a white lotus-like Lily.

Lily gnashed her teeth together when she saw Kylie's weak lips trembling constantly. ”Don't pretend someone else did it. You must have something hidden on your body that scared the horse. Admit it. You hid needles, or spice, that excites the creature!”

”Lily. Enough.” Julian commanded.

Faith, Lily's assistant, rushed over to explain: ”Lily, please stop. The Director is angry. You really did something wrong...”
