”Kylie, isn't this your agent?” Kate said all of a sudden.

”Not now.” Kylie was calm.

Faith was respectful of Kate, so she explained with a smile. ”I'm Vivian's agent now.”

”Oh, you work for another actress now.” Kate wore a sarcastic smile. ”It's quite normal in this industry.” Faith felt embarrassed but didn't dare argue with Kate.

They walked to the outside of the ward, and Faith knocked on its door. ”Vivian, Kylie, and Ms. Green are here.”

”Come on in, please!” Vivian sounded delighted.

Faith pushed the door open, and Kylie saw Vivian in a patient's clothing sitting on the bed at first glance. There were bruises on her face and neck, and she was still having an injection on the back of her hand.

Seeing Kylie and Kate walking inside, Vivian moved the quilt away and tried to get off the bed. ”Thank you so much for visiting me...”

”Don't move!” Kylie stopped her at once. ”You're a patient now, and you can stay in bed.”

Kylie put down her gift on the bedside table, then walked to Vivian's side and helped her smooth her hair. By accident, Kylie noticed hickeys around her neck.

Vivian flushed a little and lifted her collars up. Kylie also pretended that she had seen nothing.

”Why are you so injured like that?” Kate frowned. ”You are a very kind girl.”

Hearing that, Vivian did what Faith told her to do and acted pitifully. ”Ms. Green, to be honest with you, I've been through a lot when I just entered this industry, and I also had the idea to commit suicide, but...”

Kylie stood aside, watching Vivian's acting in silence. She had to admit that Vivian indeed was a good actress.

No matter whether the story was persuasive or not, her performance was quite touching.
