Dora just lay down on her bed and felt confused. ”Does he have a criminal record?”

”No, he has no criminal records at all!” Ethan snorted.

Tory lightly knocked on the door, then pushed it open, walking inside. ”Are you still up?”

Ben was sitting on his bed with a tablet in his arms. ”Is it from a woman?” He pointed at the small box in Tory's hand.

Tory smiled, then put the cake on the table. ”Why don't you have a taste?”

Ben showed a dislike on his face. ”Do you like her?” He moved his eyes back to the screen of his tablet.

It seemed he had no intention to get off the bed.

”Not really.” Tory opened the box, then snapped his fingers. ”Come here.”

Ben unwillingly put his tablet down, then put on his small slippers. The second his sight fell on the cake, he rounded his eyes in surprise.

His mouth was watering but pretended that he wasn't interested in it. ”Father, you know I don't eat desserts.”

”Try it, but control yourself so that you'll become a real man,” Tory said and laid his big palm on Ben's head.

Ben looked at his father, who was his idol, then nodded with great force.

He used a fork and ate a large piece of it, then put the fork down at once.

”Not so delicious as the cake in a Michelin starred restaurant, but not bad,” Ben said in an adult.

Tory smiled. ”Brush your teeth before you go to bed.”

”I will, father.” Ben watched Tory leaving like a little gentleman.

The second the door of his room closed, Ben ate the rest of the cake up within seconds before he jumped onto his bed and continued to play on his tablet.

In the early morning, a maid went to knock on the door of Tory's room in a hurry.

Nina opened the door in her sleeping gown and looked displeased. ”Couldn't you wait a moment?”

The maid directly walked by her and shouted to the inside, ”Mr. Romeo, Lord Ben has a sudden toothache.”

Hearing that, Tory threw Nina away without hesitation and strode outside, followed by the maid who was trotting to catch him up. ”I just went to wake Lord Ben up, but his face is swollen...”

With a loud sound, Tory kicked the door of Ben's room open.

Ben already changed his clothing and was now rolling on his bed, covering his half face.

”What happened?” Tory hugged Ben in his arms. ”Call the doctor!”

Nina walked over at a slow pace, then leaned on the door looking at them.

Tory glanced at the desktop, and there was only an empty box left on it.

Ben's eyes were already red after crying, and he did his best not to cry again when Tory showed up. ”I-I planned to brush m-my teeth after watching the film, b-but...”

”But you directly fell asleep,” Nina coldly added.

Tory turned to stare at Nina with a mad face, and Nina straightened her body up instantly. ”I have painkillers. Does Ben need a pill?”

Ben held his father's hand and shook it lightly. Tory then snapped at them, ”Get out now!”

The maid and Nina stepped out at once, and Ben said to Tory, ”I'm sorry, father. I didn't listen to you, and I can't be a real man in the future.”
