Chapter 285 (1/2)

On the street of a Russian community near Brighton Beach in New York, Ivankov is pushing Yuri out for a walk in a wheelchair. They talk and laugh like a father and son.

”Ivankov, take your nephew out for a walk?”

”Ivankov, come to my tavern when you have time! I have good vodka here. It's my treat! ”

……

From time to time, there were acquaintances on the street greeting Ivankov, and Ivankov also responded one by one. Although he has only lived in this place for a week, Ivankov seems to have become a celebrity in Brighton Beach, and everyone is happy to deal with him. And it all came from a robbery that Ivankov and Yuri met on their first day here.

That day, Ivankov drove an ambulance to Brighton Beach. He first found a clinic to accommodate Yuri, and then found a place to live. He temporarily settled down. The ambulance was abandoned by him in an alley in the next neighborhood. When all this was done, Ivankov was about to go to a bank to get some money, but he happened to be robbed.

Ivankov just walked into the door of the bank, only to find that everyone was strangely lying on the ground. Just as Ivankov felt strange, a left wheel aimed at his temple.

”Hands up, don't talk, move on slowly, hurry up!” Although the other side was masked, he could still hear the other side's voice full of fear and tension.

Ivankov did what he was told. He raised his hands and walked slowly to the counter with his back to the guy behind him. The guy roughly checked that Ivankov was unarmed and then hit him on the forehead. Then he went back to the door to let the wind out.

Standing outside the counter, Ivankov clearly saw two guys with their faces covered, holding large woven bags, frantically loading money into them, even coins!

”You stupid x, big money has been recorded, even if you take it away, you can't spend it!” Ivankov joked.

”Shut up! You old bastard, I think you want a gun! ” One of the robbers was busy loading money into his pocket. He was startled by Ivankov's sudden words. His mouth was swearing, but his hand was still loading money.

”Almost! If you don't leave, the note will come! ” Ivankov reminded in a playful tone.
