What did that mean? That meant that this person was actually her dad who wanted to take away a lock of her hair as a memento because of his guilt.

Lu Ting, “??”

Tuantuan humphed at the man and turned to Xiaoke, saying, “Auntie Xiaoke, let’s go back. He’s a baddie, let’s ignore him.”

They all say that women turn their faces as fast as you could turn a book, but this little girl turns as fast as lightning can strike. Puzzled, Lu Ting said, “I’m your father, Tuantuan. I met your mother in college.”

Tuantuan pointed her short meaty finger at him and shouted in her sweet voice, “My name is Lin Tuantuan! I came out of a rock! I have no papa. You must be mistaken, long-leg baddie!”

Xiaoke held the child tight, worried that the man would snatch the child away. He immediately said to Li Xing, “Mr. Li, the child is getting sleepy. I’ll be bringing her back.”

Then, she immediately ran off with the child.

When Xiaoke carried Tuantuan back to the car, Li Xing looked at Lu Ting and was nearly out of breath from laughing. “Your daughter turned on you real fast! She probably told a lot of men about becoming her daddy, and you’re just one of them. So, when she found out that you’re her actual father, she immediately turned on you.”

Lu Ting took out his handkerchief and wiped off the oil stains on his chest, saying under his breath, “She’s still young, it’s normal that she won’t be able to accept it that quickly.”

“I gotta say, you’re stiff when it comes to chasing women and you’re abrupt when it comes to breaking the news to your kid too. If I were that little girl, I would’ve hit you with that bowl of noodles too.”

Lu Ting got in the car silently. Lu Xing turned to ask, “So what are you planning to do next? It doesn’t look like that chubby little girl wants to accept you.”

Lu Ting did not respond. Instead, he asked, “Does your company need new artists?”
