Chapter 214 - Lin Yueqi’s Snake Soup(1) (1/2)

When he was receiving training in the United States, his instructor had explained the toxicity of certain wild jungle fruits and given everyone a copy of his handwritten notes.

The notes contained numerous drawings and detailed information regarding the plants the instructor had encountered in the jungle.

However, the instructor’s handwriting was so bad that no one other than Lu Ting had bothered to look over it seriously.

Meanwhile, Li Murou had believed that she didn’t need to read the notes because she could identify poisons with her “Gourmet Culinary Goddess.” Therefore, she only spared it a few casual flips before turning her focus to physical exercise. After all, she would definitely be criticized if her physical state ended up being the worst.

In order to ensure their safety in the jungle, Lu Ting had pored over the notes, and as if that wasn’t enough, he’d even forced Lin Yueqi to do it with him.

She was far from being as fluent in English as Daddy Lu, so despite her best efforts, she still struggled to recall which plants were poisonous and which ones were not.

The only reason she was able to recognize the Beauty’s Pearl was because it looked very similar to a type of wild plant that grew everywhere in the countryside of China. The Beauty’s Pearl wasn’t poisonous on its own, but it couldn’t be cooked together with meat.

She remembered that there was a remedy for this kind of plant poisoning, but her mind was blank. Since she couldn’t think of it, she turned to Lu Ting.

“Go boil a few pots of water and let the water cool down on its own, then make them drink the water until they’ve vomited all of the food from their stomachs,” he instructed her. “It’s not lethal, and they’ll feel better after they clear it from their system. Even if we don’t do anything, the symptoms would alleviate themselves after 40 minutes. It would take approximately half an hour for the rescue helicopter to arrive, plus another two hours to reach the nearest hospital. Therefore, there’s no point in calling the rescue helicopter over.”

The director’s voice sounded from the communication device, asking them if they wanted to keep going.

There was no reason to back down when they’d already come this far. None of them were willing to go back without completing the task, so they all grit their teeth and told the director that they would persist.

Furthermore, accidents like these happened in every season of “Natural Storm” and served as a way to test the team’s adaptability skills.
