15 Village Siege Part 2 (1/2)

-Village Head's Office-

Early morning, old man Gordon was getting ready to complete his quest to strengthen his self. He was constantly worried about the uneasy atmosphere he was feeling these days.

Suddenly the office door opened and a voice came saying, ”Old man! I need to go somewhere to train and get ready for the ”Flowing Waves Sect” recruitment. Can you lend me money for supplies when I go out?”

Standing at the door was a 23 year old white haired man, mascular build and arrogance is all over his face. He was the eldest son of Gordon the village head, Gary.

”Train? Alright then, bring your younger brother with you and help each other.” said Gordon without turning his back, he was still busy with his preparation.

”That wimp? Come on old man, you knew his a coward, he can't even kill a chicken and you want me to bring him train? Forget it!” Gary said annoyed.

”Sigh! Why can't you just help your brother?” Gordon lamented.

”Who's his brother? He's just a bastard! Alright I'll go to the vault to get some money now! I ain't bringing him with me!” Gary said without waiting for Gordon to answer and left.

”Sigh! Kids these days.” Gordon sighed, ”I need to go complete this quest now, the crisis won't decend just yet, they would be busy with their quests too. I need to hurry up and breakthrough.”

”Wait for me Dawn City.” Gordon murmured.

Mo was also getting ready to explore the forest. He remembered that he doesn't have anything so he goes to the weapon shop nearby to buy a fitting weapon for himself. He bought a thin short sword for 200 Tats to make sure his weak body can weild it.

He then decided to buy a set of clothes at the clothing store just right next to the weapon shop. Since he doesn't really have the money to buy an armor, he chose to buy a sleeved white shirt, black cloth pants and a pair of ordinary shoes.

After getting equipped, Mo visited Kana's Shop to buy some bread. He wanted to observe Kana's behaviour to see if he can ascertain what he felt before but unluckily she was not there.

When everything was ready Mo slowly slipped towards Savage Beast Forest.

Savage Beast Forest is the habitat of different kinds of savage beast. Savage beast only has limited intellect and only knows how to kill intruders. They provide TExp depending on there brand level and blue branded beasts also provide beast cores for techniques level up, job's usage, materials for tattoo function upgrade and etc.

15 minutes later.

At the outer part of the forest, Mo was already wearing his Devil's Rage while walking with his short sword strapped on his back.

Suddenly, an angry roar was heard from Mo's back. Without delaying, Mo activated his skill effects, ”Devil's Grin, Soul Eyes”. He ran up to a tree, used his legs to push his body and back-flipped to dodge the attack.

When he faced the beast that attacked him he calmly used his status function. ”Status, target: Beast in front” Mo muttered.

After getting the information, Mo's Soul Eyes was doing its job. He spotted the red mark just bellow the beast's abdomen.
