45 Chapter 45: In your dreams (1/2)
”Let's finish this in the next attack!”
Everyone glanced at Freya and bobbed their head seriously. All of them knew they wouldn't be able to hold on for much longer if this situation prolongs for a period.
Immediately, Liz bent down and touched the ground. She looked up with a stern eye and declared, ”Let's get this party over with.”
Right after her words, ice decorated the ground as it spread throughout the field rapidly. The ice reached Lyndel within a blink of an eye and covered her foot, rooting her down.
Lyndel looked on amused by her silly trick as ice-covered all over her body, turning her into an ice sculpture. One look at the sculpture and you would see her frozen smirk plastered on her face.
Liz straightened up by swinging her hand, forming an ice road for Jinha to run.
Jinha smirked as he mumbled thanks and ran through the road, twirling his spear as he moved. He leapt from the road towards the sculpture with the intent of piercing it into pieces.
But as soon as the spear approached the sculpture, just an inch away from breaking it to thousand small pieces. The blade was held by her fingers effectively stopping his strike. The lifeless sculpture moved and caught the blade by its fingers.
Jinha was suspended in the air, shocked by the events. He knitted his brows as he flipped backwards, landing neatly on the ground and regained his balance.
He stood up slowly and saw the sculpture regaining its life. Laughter echoed in the field as everyone watched Lyndel break free from the ice.
Jinha's eyes glinted as he grinned, ”This will be so much fun.”
Liz frowned as she witnessed the demon breaking out from her ice in ease. She pursed her lips.
Jinha dashed in as he struck the demon with his spear. Lyndel shaped her hands into a sword as she blocked it.
Both of them flashed an evil smile just before exchanging blows.
Lyndel soon said, ”Your attacks are indeed strong...”
”Well why, thank you for your praise.” Jinha grinned at her.
Jinha smirked as he mustered lightning through his spear and pointed it at her. The air grew cold around them as the lightning gleamed in the dark atmosphere.
