69 Chapter 69: Farewell, Princess (1/2)

Freya blinked at him in shock. She never thought he would say these words but it wasn't right. She hurriedly said, ”What nonsense are you saying?” and tried swatting his hand away. But, Usui tightened his hold on her and made her face him before he continued.

” And I will wait till you are ready to answer my questions.”

Her hand fell back to her lap as she gaped at him in shock. She didn't know what she should say. ”You don't want to ask me now?”

Usui titled his head as he asked seriously, ”Do you want to tell me?”

Freya turned her eyes away from him while biting her lip. He smiled gently as he said, ”I thought so too. I won't force you to answer them besides I want you to voluntarily tell me about it. So I will wait till you are ready.”

He could see her eyelashes trembling slightly as he praised himself inwardly, 'That was the right decision after all.'

Only he knew how hard it was for him to tell her that he will wait. All the questions he wanted to ask were at the tip of his tongue but he swallowed them. He knew she wasn't ready to answer any of the questions from her earlier actions.

He saw her fingers wandering to her ear and touched the flower he placed on her ear. He smiled happily as he looked at the beautiful girl looking at him in her gorgeous orbs. Adding on the flower, just made her look ethereal.

Freya touched the flower and looked at him who was smiling gently. Before she could remove it, she saw his face moving closer to her. Instantly she stiffened until their forehead touched startling her.

”Don't worry about this too much, Freya.”

His words rendered her helpless. She didn't know she was trapped the moment the lion made her his prey. Seeing her troubled expression, he sighed. 'It is going to be so hard.'

Freya looked at his face which was just inches away from hers. She observed his face as if only realizing that this man was very good looking.

She felt something soft on her forehead and looked up in surprise, ”Since we don't know when we will meet again, I can steal one or two kisses right?”

Freya blinked her eyes in response, not understanding what's happening around her.

”Oh, before I forget. Don't let Jinha act all chummy with you.”

Freya asked bewilderedly, ”Huh? J-jinha?”

Usui nodded seriously but stopped for a moment before shaking his head.

”No, cross that. Don't let any guys come near you. I'm a very possessive person.”

Then he moved closer to her ears and whispered, ”I wouldn't be able to hold on to my promise if anything like that happens.” And pecked her cheek.

Freya scoffed unbelievably at this rogue who was stealing kisses now and then. She shoved him away before standing up. Her face tinted red, she glared at him, ”I never asked you to wait.”

Freya tutted under her breath, ”So persistent.”

”Well if that would make you fall for me, then why not?”

She rolled her eyes as she said frustratedly, ”Who would fall for you? Just leave.”

She turned around to walk towards her friends.

Usui called out to her as he hurried his steps, ”Don't leave me behind. Let's go together.”

Jinha watched as Freya hurry towards them. When he saw her face full of indignation, he sighed. ' I guess it went well.' and his eyes shifted to the grinning puppy behind her.

He snorted derisively before wrapping his arms around her shoulder. He saw the puppy bare his fangs at him to which he smirked.
