When the Goblin Warriors had returned from the Dark Forest at Dusk they had managed to capture a total of seventy six creatures during their collective hunt.

A majority of the creatures numbering at about sixty nine were a species of ants known as the Blue Ants, while the rest were Polka Dotted Rabbits.

The name was a simple title given to them by the Goblins due to their Blue flesh and Exoskeleton their size ranged from that of a rat to a small feline or dog,

The Blue Ants were insects slathered in a naturally produced shiny green mucus that gleamed and allowed them to traverse the water with ease giving off a rancid smell to ward off any predators.

They're diet consisted primarily of fish, shit and, carccases and were typically found by the river or any other large bodies of water.

In a collective swarm they could easily overrun and eat Green Goblins alive or any other weak beings that they came across.

But because the Goblin Warriors had approached them in such large numbers they were unable to swarm the goblins and were easy pickings for them.

The might of a single Blue Ant was no match for the might of a single Green Goblin.

As a result they could not resist when the warrior group had stumbled upon them while they feasted upon fish and bear shit.

All of the Goblins in the group were able to catch at least two with each hand while some caught three or more with their mouth and feet during their frenzied approach.

Originally they had captured a lot more than just sixty nine of them but because they grew hungry they ate a large portion and dwindled them down to sixty nine to satisfy their hunger.

After the feast they made their way back to the Goblin Cave and captured seven rabbits along the way..

They did not dare to linger anywhere else and patiently awaited by the entrance until they could go back inside.

They had refused to go inside due to the Boss specifically telling them not to return until sundown.

None were so daring as to walk back inside and risk going against the Boss's orders even if they were literally standing right outside the Goblin Cave Entrance.

This pointless turn of events was due to the fear that lingered in their hearts when Jack had displayed his ruthless nature in enforcing his commands.

While the Goblin Warriors patiently waited standing quite and bored they began to talk among each other and socialize

Something that was quite uncommon for the Goblins since most of the time every Goblin was busy doing its own thing.

The Goblins of the first floor tended to be distant loners or hung around each other in small cliques.

This was due to the ”Every Goblin for themselves”, mentality established during Gyrom's reign.

Now that the Goblin Warriors were working as a singular force the seeds of comradery were beginning to form as they hunted, feasted and, waited together.

They chatted about a variety of topics like battles, hunts, the future or the Boss but the most popular topic among them was.

”Which Female Gob was the best to fuck.”

The Goblin Warriors were able to easily find common ground as they talked and became closer as fellow tribesman.

Afterall who among them had not suffered the injustice of a poor leader or the collective ridicule of the lower floor levels.

Many of the Goblin Warriors were not pleased with the Female Goblins being given an equal status or being trained as warriors.

Or how this Ja'Hack had showed the same despicable methods used by Gyrom in intimidation or his blatant insult of calling them bugs.

The older veterans among the group felt more displeased as the traditions and foundations of the Tribe's norm's were being shaken.

Despite their poor treatment over the many years the older Veteran Goblins of the first floor were still loyal to the Tribe.

Perhaps not as dedicated than the lower floor level Goblins but still loyal nonetheless.

They did not like the idea of Ja'Hack claiming independent power and control through the use of Boss instead of Elder .

However unlike them the younger Goblin Warriors were not as inclined to dedicate themselves to the tribe as the Veterans were,

This created a clear split of opinion between the group as the younger generation of Goblins were more open to the idea of Ja'Hack's changes.

This was mainly because the flame of ambition within these younger Goblins had yet to be extinguished during Gyrom's short reign over their lives.

Unlike the Veteran Goblins who had long accepted their position in life and were afraid of change yet still desired a better future.

The Younger generation of Goblin Warriors were still hot blooded and prideful beings who took the ridicule of the lower floor levels and used it fuel for their hatred and ambition.

Jack was already proving to be a much better ruler than Gyrom, then again the bar was not set very high and neither were their standards which made it easier for Jack to sway them to his cause.

The new Boss was a controversial but charismatic figure to the goblins who gave them the hope of a better life in their bleak and pitiful existence.

There was one Goblin Warrior among them who stood out for being the most inspired and ambitions of the bunch.

A peculiar Goblin runt named Grunt who looked generic in every way except for his height and large bulbous head.

Grunt was a very rare case of dumb luck during the initiation period he was considered the least likely to survive and as a result he was given his pitiful name.

Like the name implies Grunt was born the runt of his entire litter generation being born freakishly small and odd for a goblin.

But despite his physical shortcomings he had miraculously survived the process on sheer luck.

During the final phase of his initiation period where participated in one on one Goblin Combat against a much larger and stronger Goblin.

Grunt had come out of the battle victorious due to his opponent having suffered a fatal wound before the match had started.

Grunt had simply put a little pressure on the hidden wound by accident during their fight to the death and his opponent quickly dropped dead within seconds.

Grunt had entered the tribe and become a warrior that day but because of his puny size and large head he was like a super midget among the Goblins.

Standing at only two and half feet tall Grunt was small by even Goblin standards and was ridiculed by not only the lower floor levels but also by every Goblin on the first floor level.

Grunts puny size and bulbous head was due to a bizarre mutation that increased his intelligence and gifted him with a hidden power.

But came at the cost of his physical capability strictly affecting his physique in the process making him very weak and small.

Grunt despite being born a mutant which were considered superior beings within the tribe was still the butt of every joke.

He was made the laughing stock of the entire Goblin community due to his unimpressive appearance as a mutant and was never acknowledged as one.

Grunt was not only constantly bullied and pushed around by his peers but also by those who had a lower status than him the Female Goblins!

Grunt would be picked on or beaten by any Goblin who felt like it and despite his status as a Goblin male he had never been with a woman before Goblin or otherwise.

He could not force himself upon a female because he was too weak and would not be allowed to join during group acts by the other male Goblins.

Grunt was the only goblin in the group of warriors who was excluded while they socialized and chatted.

The other Goblins had only interacted with Grunt during the hunt to take his game and push or order him around.

Grunt the biggest loner of perhaps any Goblin to have ever lived in the tribe was used to this kind of treatment.

Having only grown more and more spiteful as the years went on to his own tribe and tribesman.

When the sun had set the Goblins ordered Grunt to inform the Boss of their arrival and to ask for permission to enter the cave.

Even as Grunt obediently agreed to the order with his head down cutting out a sorry figure was still punched and kicked as he made his way through the crowd.

When Grunt had made it near the entracne of the Goblin Cave he was tripped over by a Veteran Goblin Warrior.

Landing face first as the crowd around him began to laugh and mock Grunt as they spat and called him ”Runt!”

Grunt like always kept his anger in check and ignored the crowd as he stumbled back onto his feet and entered the Goblin Cave.
