”Faster!” Ivanic says as they keep on running.

The once clean forest was now littered with bodies, a metallic scent forced its way into the nose of-of the four, causing their throats to feel a sharp pain which made their eyes waters. Screams echoed throughout, such a brutal scene was unimaginable. Pigs eating other humans and feasting on them like food. This was unimaginable, and Niko, who believed he was used to such scenes, was currently retracting his words.

Niko was almost feeling dizzy, he felt like nausea and dizziness were about to strike him, as he was currently in the state of being nauseous and not.

”Ahead of us!” Zheng said mid running.

A boar which feasted on a woman who laid on the ground turned its head and charged towards them. The face of the boar was crimson red, from the blood of those it had feasted on, making it look even more menacing.

[Powerful Beast Roar]!

Candreva roared, paralyzing the boar for a slight second. The second it was paralyzed for was good enough, as it stopped charging and fell head first to the ground, allowing the group of four to jump over it and continue n running. They didn't have the time to fight anything, one-stop could allow other beasts to catch up and they would easily be overwhelmed.

As they went around trees and over bushes they continued to run. They took certain detours with Ivanic's guidance and avoided many unnecessary fights.

As Niko ran past many bodies on the green earthly ground, his mind played with the idea of taking the spirits of other humans, however, as Niko shook his head he couldn't possibly do it. Yes, he was in a world where the laws of Earth did not matter and yes, he had to conform to actions which he never thought he would do, such as killing, however, he couldn't allow himself to do such a thing as taking their spirits. He would like to at least respect the dead humans, and keep some of what made him human in the first place, even if it wasn't much. Besides, taking the spirits of other humans when humans were around, would probably be one of the most self-destructive ideas ever. Getting another human to trust you after that would be quite difficult.

Niko sighed in his heart. The settlement could have been used for a good amount of time, he wished he stayed there, at least until his time in the noob building was over. Everything that had just occurred was way too sudden, and he would never expect such a thing to ever happen. In that settlement, humans seemed to be thriving, and just like that, it all went wrong. There was a slight feeling of fear mixed in with disappointment within him as well, but he was prepared to not let such thoughts get in his way.

As they kept on moving ahead, their hearts sunk.

”Damn it!” Ivanic cursed, as he saw what was ahead of him.
