Chapter 77 - Betrayal Is Not An Option. (1/2)
Although the Dorgon wasn't able to break out of the eggshell throughout the whole night, at this moment, thanks to Hecathe, there was a small hole on the surface of the shell which made it easier for the Dorgon to break the rest of the eggshell.
The Dorgon immediately used all his strength to push through the shell and after a few minutes, the shell was completely broken and the Dorgon could step out of it.
”Master, look! I did it!” The Little Dorgon exclaimed and looked to be really happy as he jumped around in joy.
Hecathe looked up at the creature that was already as big as his arm and his eyes narrowed down with great interest as he pondered over something.
Hecathe had read about Dorgons in Alphius's records, however, he had never seen one so it was only natural that he was a bit surprised to see this creature for the first time. He didn't really hold any expectations on how the creature would look but shockingly enough, this creature looked oddly alike to the dragons that existed in the western fairytales and animations.
”Master! Master! Master! Look!” Just like any other kid in the world, this Dorgon child was also hyperactive as it ran and hoped all over the room.
”Don't break anything,” Hecathe spoke up as he warned but the Dorgon was no longer afraid of Hecathe's voice.
When he was still inside the egg, he was vulnerable, but now that the Dorgon was out of the Eggshell, he would naturally not fear the dumb human that had saved him.
”Sit down,” Hecathe spoke as he gestured in front of him.
The Dorgon stopped jumping around and quietly walked over towards Hecathe as he heard the man.
”Are you excited?” Hecathe asked a question that had an obvious answer.
”Of course!” The Dorgon proudly responded, ”For us Dorgons to come out of their egg, it's a thing to celebrate!”
”Then let me see you make use of that enthusiasm,” Hecathe smirked as he stood up and spoke.
”Eh?”
”I'll go down for breakfast and by the time I return, you clean the room.”
”...” The Dorgon was left speechless as he stared back at Hecathe in shock.
To make a Dorgon clean his room... This man certainly didn't fear death!
Hecathe casually picked up the knife from the table as he added, ”I also need to return this.”
”Master, I don't know how to clean,” The Dorgon spoke as it tried to change Hecathe's mind on letting the little Dorgon clean his room.
”Then it's a good time for you to start learning”
”...”
Hecathe smirked as he turned his back on the Dorgon and headed for the door, however, this time, the Dorgon didn't really look to be obedient.
As soon as the creature saw Hecathe showing his back to him, he got ready to attack the man.
