Chapter 97 - Im The Great Orgon! (1/2)

The monkey was stern as he refused to give the ring to Hecathe.

”Alright,” Hecathe sighed with an understanding nod and the monkey thought that the man had given up, however, what happened next could really not have been expected.

Since the man wasn't willing to hand the ring over willingly, Hecathe decided to kidnap the man.

He picked him up and threw him over his shoulder before turning to the grey cardigan girl and gesturing for her to follow as he walked away from this gambling den.

The girl looked to be a little hesitant at first, however, she ended up listening to the man and obediently followed after Hecathe without saying anything.

On the other hand, the kidnapped monkey couldn't stop shouting and the man's loud voice made Hecathe want to hulk smash the monkey to the ground.

”Let me down!! You bastard, let me down!! I'll f*cking kill you!! Let me go!!”

Hecathe sighed as he tried his best to control his temper and continued to carry the man all the way to one of the more empty sides of the city.

Since Ocasia was an ancient city, there were a lot of empty areas that had been left abandoned.

Hecathe didn't even bother being polite as he simply dropped the man to the ground.

”Ah!” The monkey groaned in pain as he rubbed his back that had almost been broke.

Hecathe turned to look at the girl and with a small smile, he spoke, ”Can you give us a minute to talk? You would probably not want to see this.”

The girl gulped as she heard this and without thinking too much, she nodded as she turned around and went away, giving the two some privacy for the time being. She seemed to have already guessed that the two were clearly going to have a rather unpleasant conversation.

Once the girl had left, the smile was no longer there on Hecathe's face as he turned around and looked down at the monkey before questioning seriously, ”You're the one who spread the rumor?”

The monkey gulped as he heard this question and it didn't even take him a minute to catch up as he immediately understood what Hecathe was asking about.

”So you're here for that?” The man asked as he looked up at Hecathe.

Hecathe took out the file that Kelly had given him and nodded his head as he responded, ”Didn't I already say that I had business with you?”

”Then why are you after the ring?” The man questioned rudely as he glared at Hecathe.

”The ring is a different story entirely,” Hecathe sighed as he replied.

”What different story?” The man looked to be persistent as he asked.

Hecathe's lips curled up in a small smirk as he heard this question and he looked at the man blankly for a minute before question back in turn, ”When did I give you the permission to be the one who asks the questions?”

”You cocky bastard,” The man gritted his teeth as he fumed, ”Don't get over your head. The higher you consider yourself, the more it would hurt when you fall.”

Hecathe couldn't help but chuckle as he found the man's words a bit funny, ”Then I guess I'll have to be careful not to fall.”

Hecathe crouched down to the ground and the man who was already on the ground no longer had to strain his neck to look all the way up to face Hecathe. However, somehow, having Hecathe look at him directly like this felt even more intimidating for the monkey.

”Let me make myself clear,” Hecathe spoke firmly and his voice sounded even deeper, ”I'll be the one asking the questions and you're job is to answer me honestly.”

”And what if I refuse?!”

”You want to refuse?” Hecathe raised his eyebrows as he asked and he chuckled as he raised a finger and seemed to be calling someone.

The monkey had a confused expression plastered on his face as he looked around to see if Hecathe was trying to call back-up or something but as far as his eyes could see, this back alley was completely empty with them being the only two humans here.

”What are you trying to do?” The man questioned but Hecathe clearly didn't need to answer him as the answer presented itself in front of the man within just a few seconds.

The monkey's eyes widened in horror as he tried to crawl as far back as possible when he realized what the creatures crawling and creeping towards them were.
