Chapter 130 - Visiting (1/2)
”Auntie, I'm here to visit you,” Said a guy who looked rather young and had his outgrown hair tied up neatly in a ponytail behind his head.
He wore a nice black suit that was custom-made according to his body structure and fit him perfectly.
He stood in front of the door but didn't dare open it. On either side of the door were guards who were stationed to strictly protect the person inside and to also make sure that the person inside didn't get a chance to leave the room without permission.
The man waited for a response from the woman inside but a few minutes passed and he heard nothing.
He sighed as he looked at one of the guards and the guard nodded in understanding as he opened the door for the man.
Once the door was open, a small white pillow came flying towards the entryway but the man caught the pillow easily with a small smile.
”It's nice to see you being so lively,” The man chuckled softly as he commented and entered the room.
The guard closed the door behind him and the woman sitting on the bed glared at the man who had entered uninvited.
”How have you been?” He asked as he leisurely took a seat on the visitor's couch that faced the bed.
”Azazel,” The woman gritted out as she glared at the man and the man nodded his head.
”It's nice to see that you still remember me,” Azazel spoke with an honest smile, but the woman didn't look to be as happy as him.
”Why the hell are you here?!” She shouted at Azazel as she questioned and this seemed to be normal behavior for her considering the fact that the man was not shocked in the least.
”Your son-” Azazel started with a sigh but was not able to complete his sentence as the woman cut his words short and threw a table lamp at him as she shouted.
”I have no son! Don't you dare talk about that devil in front of me!”
Azazel tilted his head to the side and avoided the table lamp that came flying at him. He was so used to this situation that his body effortlessly moved on instinct and the table lamp ended up colliding against the wall that was behind him.
”Then let's talk about that devil,” Azazel looked down at the floor and sighed as he spoke up calmly once again, ”He's dying.”
The woman had already picked up something else to throw at him but when she heard this, her actions paused and there was a split second of disbelief flashing through her eyes.
”What...?” She muttered softly, questioning whether she had heard it right or not.
”I wanted to tell you this sooner but you weren't in a stable condition,” Azazel gulped as he spoke and lifted his head to look at the woman as he questioned, ”Hasn't it been a really long time since you've seen him?”
The woman put the remote of the air conditioner down on the table as she heard this and had a complicated expression plastered on her face as she dare not give a verbal response to that.
”Don't you want to see your son?” Azazel asked and there was a sense of sadness in his voice as he continued, ”The doctors say that he might never wake up. In the worst-case scenario... We might never get to see him again.”
The woman gulped as she heard this and her eyes widened as she frowned, shouting, ”I do not have a son! My son died years ago!”
Azazel was a bit stunned to hear this but it only took him a minute to sigh as he accepted such a reaction.
”Get out of here!!” The woman shouted once again as she picked up the remote and threw it at the man.
Azazel once again acted on instinct and caught the remote that came flying towards his face.
”In that case, I wouldn't want to waste any more of your time,” Azazel spoke with a small smile that lacked any joy. He put the remote on the side table as he continued, ”I just wanted to inform you because I thought Hecathe would want me to do that.”
It hadn't even been complete ten minutes since Azazel had come here but he already got up and got ready to leave the place as he said his goodbyes.
When he was at the door, with his right hand wrapped around the doorknob, he was forced to stop as he heard the woman.
