Chapter 183 - The Ruined Zeblor (1/2)

Hecathe got on top of the Dorgon and the Dorgon used his ability to make Hecathe invisible from the naked eye as well.

The Dorgon avoided the guards by flying up and Hecathe also helped break the barrier as the two entered the city of Zeblor.

”Where do you want to go?” The Dorgon asked as he flew a few rounds around the parameters of the city.

”That way,” Hecathe pointed down at the destroyed part of the city as he spoke, ”Let that be the base.”

The Dorgon nodded his head and let out a loud breath as he flapped his magestic wings and headed back down to the ground.

Hecathe couldn't help but feel that it had suddenly become a little cold.

It was usually said that the higher you go, the colder you'd feel, but for some reason, right now, the situation seemed to have reversed.

The more they got closer to the ground, the colder it felt and the air also seemed to have gotten a bit heavier..

”Hold on tight,” The Dorgon warned as it opened its wings wide and landed on the ground with a loud thud that was enough to send the dust flying around.

Hecathe coughed a few times as he waved his hands in front of his face and got down from the Dorgon.

”So this is the remaining ruins of the great ancient Zeblor?” Hecathe muttered a question to himself.

”I would hate to admit it but the ancient Zeblor was truly something great. It's a pity that the same can't be said now,” The Dorgon commented with a sigh as he folded his wings back.

”But who knows? Maybe in the future, this place may return to the glory it used to once bath in,” Hecathe commented with a sigh.

The Dorgon let out a small chuckle as he heard this and nodded his head, ”If you let the great emperor rule these lands, I promise to return it to its former glory.”

”Are you sure you want to rule a land that is going to be filled with humans?” Hecathe asked sarcastically.

”On second thoughts, you'd better find someone else to play the new ruler.”

Hecathe couldn't help but laugh as he heard this.

In all honesty, Hecathe had planned to destroy the three willows of spring and their government, but he was yet to decide anything further than that.

If he was truly successful, there would arise a need for a new ruler and the man was still not sure who could fill that place.

”Why don't you become the new ruler?” The Dorgon asked curiously, ”You love controlling people, don't you?”

Hecathe scoffed as he heard this, ”Are you cursing me to be trapped here forever?”

”Eh...?”

”I still have to go back. My mother is still at the hospital and I did a really idiotic thing that needs to be fixed.”

”An idiotic thing?” The Dorgon repeated with a bit of surprise, ”What is it?”

”I made a will and handed over the company to a friend without informing him,” Hecathe sighed as he spoke, ”It was supposed to be in case of my death and I didn't expect to die this soon.”

Hecathe and the Dorgon had already talked about Hecathe's past so the Dorgon was well aware of the fact that Hecathe wasn't actually from this world and was merely a soul from another world that was living here inside a different body.

”I bet he'd be mad,” Hecathe spoke with a small chuckle, ”He hates troublesome things and I wanted to trouble him a little so I made the will for fun.”

”And now you regret it?” The Dorgon asked curiously.

Hecathe stopped laughing as he heard this question and shook his head as he seriously responded, ”I am not married and I don't have any plans of marriage either. I'm the only child of the family so I don't think there would be anyone in the family that I can entrust my company to. So even if I hadn't done it for fun, I would have still written the same will in the future as well.”

”What's the name of your friend?”

”Azazel,” Hecathe responded with a small smile as he remembered the annoying dude who was one of his only friends back in his real world.

”It's a unique name,” The Dorgon commented and Hecathe nodded his head as he agreed with him.

”But it suits him,” Hecathe added.

”If you get to go back, are you going to tell him about your life here?”
