21 Start of a Journey (1/2)

The next morning she woke up to extreme hunger.

[I'm starving. I forgot that the entire reason for yesterday's event was my hunger.

They are so irresponsible! THEY FORGOT TO FEED ME!]

It was too early and she knew her parents wouldn't wake up at this time no matter how much she rang the tiny bell.

She decided to ignore her hunger as much as possible. They would wake up soon at her regular feeding time anyways.

She sat up and crossed her small chubby legs. She needed to start patiently. The key in cultivation is patience and experience. After reading so many books, she was basically a how to manual already.

Her round eyes closed and she concentrated.

[The first step is to find complete peace within yourself. A space where everything is perfect. A mind of complete serenity…

But that is what I lack the most ever since losing my innocence that day.

Peace and serenity.]

She concentrated and her eyebrows furrowed at the outcome. She was patient but it was obvious that there would be no progress if she didn't change.

{Remember the days before that happened or the days you have now. Forget that day. I know it can't be done permanently but try to focus on something else that causes you peace}

[Long time no see little light]

{If you want to progress do as I teach you}

The light left its instructions and disappeared once again.

She sighed at its attitude but felt that it was reasonable to do as it said.

[Peace… Where do I find that?

Where do I feel the most comfortable?

Fu*k. IDK?]

She tried both ways but the peace she had with her parents still had residues of insecurity and her past had daily torments. Neither gave her what she wanted.

[What matters to me other than my parents?

Ercan?

Nothing else.]

She began to think of Ercan but their times together weren't enough to put her at complete serenity.

Nothing else mattered to her at least before.

She had no one but herself before.

…Herself.

[That's the only person I've been able to trust. Myself.

Can it be something about myself?]

{Yes}

As she concentrated, an image flashed within the darkness. It was what she felt connected to.

[That image over my dantian!]

She moved her consciousness to look at that mystic image on her. It was special. The moon was special. She felt comfortable, enchanted, and at peace while looking at the image.

The dragon captured a feeling of desperateness and its golden tear seemed filled with enclosed feelings which had been held onto for so long. The dragon was reaching for the bright stars in that dark sky with anxiousness. It looked needy and fearful as if what it was missing was its own soul.Yet underneath such a sad image lay a moon bright and enchanting. It was so bright as if shining the sky for the dragon. It felt nice looking at it but it also gave her a feeling of melancholy.

It was a good melancholy. It felt strange. She couldn't understand.

She looked at it and began to realize that everything began to shift.

All that was needed was a blink of her eyes and all her surroundings had changed. She was on a moon.

It was warm.

The star had stayed where it was but the dragon and its tear had disappeared.

[Strange.]

She walked but everything seemed never ending. She realized that her entire body seemed in a state of complete relaxation. She felt spirited and carefree.

This was it. This was the feeling.
