4 KAI DISCOVERS HIS WEAKNESS (1/2)

As Jean was receiving compliments from Kai which were boosting her confidence in her looks, Xavier, Scott and Ororo were having a meeting in the danger room control booth.

”So he is a mutant after all” said Ororo

”It would seem so…but why can't I sense it… even now he still comes off as a human” said Xavier

”Maybe it's one of his abilities” replied Scott.

”Maybe…so what do you think about him now?” Ororo asked Xavier.

He looked at her and replied, ”He is very power. He didn't show us the full scope of his abilities but from the little I have seen, I can say he is a least a high level Alpha mutant with potential of omega class”

The mutant classes from lowest to highest are gamma, beta, alpha and omega. 70% of mutants fall within the range of gamma to beta, with 25% making up the alpha and only 5% topping the rest as Omegas.

”Kai didn't come off as a powerful mutant, he was more of a big harmless teddy bear.” Said Ororo

Scott laughed, ”I guess you can't judge a book by it cover.”

Xavier nodded in agreement, ”I wonder just how power he really is?” he asked.

”I can't even read his thought, just who the hell is he?” Xavier thought to himself.

He would later learn after watching a live news broadcast of Kai defeating both the Hulk and Abomination on the streets of Harlem that Kai was on a whole other level.

”So where to?” asked Kai as he and Jean reached the elevator.

”I am hungry so lets head to the cafeteria and get something to eat” Jean replied.

”So you want me to walk around in this” he said as he pointed to his ripped up clothes.

”Don't worry, the ripped clothes giving the look of a bad ass, the ladies will love it as for the guys…. You make them question their manhood”

”Do I even have a choose?” he asked

”Nope…so quit complaining and let's go”

Stepping in to the elevator yet again, they rode it back to the Level 1.

When they got of the elevator, a lot of eyes turned to him. Classes had just ended and corridors were filled students all of whom were staring at the stranger in ripped clothes standing next to Jean.

”Who is that?”

”I don't know but he looks so manly in those clothes”

”I agree…look at those abs”

”Why don't you have abs like that?” a random girl asked her boyfriend

”I could…but I chose not to” he replied as he gave Kai the nasty eye.

Jean began laughing, ”I love it when I am right…now let's get me some food” she said she walked in to the gathering students.

The students parted like the red sea as when Jean reached then. Kai followed behind her enduring the hated looks from most of the guys and the looks of the ladies stripping him with the eyes.

Kai and Jean found a few table and sat down to enjoy there burger and fries.

After taking a few bites out of her burger and a hand full of fries, Jean tamed her hunger enough to begin some small talk.

”So Kai…where do you come from?” she asked.

On hearing her question, Kai began to recall his life as Kai the Xtreme sports junkie which brought a smile on his face, he loved his former life, moving from one location to another on tour getting paid to do the staff he loved.

As for Kal El (Prime) the one whose body he currently possess, he had no idea about his past and how he ended up here, which was really bothering him, no one wants to have blank spaces in the memory.

”I really wish I had followed the DC world back in my former life, then I would know the story behind the life of Kal El (Prime)” he thought to himself.

Jean waved her hand near his face snapping him out of his deep thoughts, ”are you okay?” she asked
