7 LOGAN A WAKENS…PART I (1/2)

”What is Kryptonian?” asked Ororo as she floated closer to him.

Thinking fast on his feet, Kai responded, ”It's a new age religion that I am part of.”

”Really…I have never heard of it before” she said.

”Because it so new that I am the only one practicing its beliefs” he replied.

”And what are it beliefs?” she asked out of curiosity.

”Damn, this girl cant just let it go I mean what is with all the questions…maybe I should just tell her that Kryptonian is an alien species that exists in another universe all together” he thought.

”Why are so interested in a religion that only has me as a follower?” he asked her.

Ororo thought for a moment before she replied ”I just want to know who you are and how you mind works?”

”AHH… so you have fallen for me, why didn't you just say so?”

Ororo felt her brain experienced a glitch for a second, then she began laughing, ”You have just a wild imagination”

”Fine I will tell you my secret if you can win against me”

Ororo stopped laughing and looked at him, ”what's the challenge?” she asked as her competitive nature took over.

Kai pointed to the sky, ”We shall both fly straight up, the first person to quit because they can't handle the altitude is a loser”

”Sounds like fun…we shall start and the count of 3…2... go” said Ororo as she shoot in to the sky.

Kai chuckled and shoot in to the sky after here.

Ororo was confident she could reach at least 20000 ft before she begins suffering the effects of oxygen loss, she didn't believe Kai would make it that far.

”Hey” said Kai as he appeared right next to Ororo matching her speed.

”Bye” he added as he increased his speed creating a sudden pressure wave that blow Ororo off course. She stopped her ascent and looked in shock as Kai's kept picking up speed and shoot passed 20000 ft and kept climbing.

”What the…how high can he go?” she asked as kept watching his figure which soon disappeared in to the night sky.

Kai didn't reduce his speed until he felt the pull of gravity on his body disappear. Stopping his ascent he looked down at the earth and he couldn't believe it.

He was over 64 miles above the earth surface floating in outer space and he was able to breathe just like he was on earth.

”Looks like I don't need a space ship to explore the cosmos” Kai said a smile appeared on his face.

”I can leave the Earth and explore the Milky Way galaxy, may be even look for Asgard, Nova Prime…the possibilities are endless”

Then his fantasy was smashed by Brainiac.

Kai sighed, ”Looks like I won't be living this Planet until I build the Power suit”

Kai turned towards the earth aiming at the location of the X mansion and shoot towards it.

He didn't notice that a satellite in higher obit tracking his re-enter in to the earth's upper atmosphere.

Ororo was still looking up to the night sky hoping to see Kai, when she spotted a gaint ball of fire flying towards her. Her first instinct was to summon the elements to her side and stop the fire ball when she noticed that Kai was the fire ball.
