Chapter 384 - Lu Xuan, You have gone Too Far! (1/2)

As Lu Xuan made his move, a burst of light emanated from his feet. He was using his top-notch movement method: Ten Thousand Mile Rainbow.

Lu Shanshan conjured yet another huge hand and quickly swept the bodies of the other dead demons away, before disappearing in midair using the Ten Thousand Mile Rainbow technique as well.

The human cultivators from various nations looked at each other at that moment, feeling as if they had been in a dream and everyone was just about to wake up.

“Why did I feel like I just returned from the clutches of the Reaper?” Some Huaxian fighters said with mouths agape, believing that they were very lucky.

“The demons have no doubt banded together to form an alliance, yet us humans are still fighting for our own factions. Damn, just how are we gonna fight them in the future at this rate?”

“The way I see it, the demons aren’t as terrifying as everyone says. There’s no way they could be more terrifying than Lu Xuan after all, right?” A foreign cultivator asked.

Many actually nodded and agreed to what the cultivator said, looking rather perplexed and embarrassed.

Lu Xuan’s overwhelming powers left a lasting impression on all of them. None of them dared to even imagine if Lu Xuan was at his full strength, considering all that impressive feats that he had displayed.

They wondered just how far Lu Xuan had gone in his journey of cultivation.

“Seems like we came here for nothing today!” A female fighter said in a rather dejected manner.

“Worse still, we almost died her. If it hadn’t been for Lu Shanshan and Lu Xuan making their way here one after another, we would’ve all been in grave danger.”

Someone immediately retorted in disagreement, “What do you mean ‘we came here for nothing’? We got to at least witness all those frightening battles. Boy, that was truly unbelievable. Makes you would wonder if humans would actually be capable of something like that.”

Upon having realized something, someone immediately said, “That’s right. We should head up and see how the battle would end right now. While I have no idea what the true purpose of the Tree of Enlightenment is, it seems very important to the demons. If that weren’t the case, they would never have come to get it one after another. Hell, they were even willing to die just so to slow Lu Xuan down a bit.”

Everyone nodded. They could tell that the Tree of Enlightenment was extremely valuable. It was definitely something that they could not afford to let the demons steal.

No matter how one looked at it, it was clear that the demons had no intention of coexisting peacefully with humans. In that case, it would’ve only been a matter of time before they became the enemy of mankind. Shaving down even just a bit of the power of the demons would go a long way in weakening the demons in the future.

All of them had lights bursting out of their feet at that thought, moving in the direction that both Lu Xuan and Lu Shanshan went. Even the Celestial Realm cultivators had all manipulated the wind, allowing them to take flight. They were unable to achieve true flight just yet; the best they could do in that regard was to lift themselves into the air by manipulating wind. As such, they were only able to barely keep their distance and watch from behind.

On the other side…

When used at full force, Lu Xuan’s Ten Thousand Mile Rainbow technique was so frighteningly fast that he could move faster than the fastest fighter jet currently available at full speed. With that, he was able to move several times the speed of sound.

Furthermore, that was because Lu Xuan was still not powerful enough in his current condition. At the pinnacle of the technique’s power, it would have only taken him a single thought to traverse tens, even hundreds of thousands of kilometers. Only by utilizing such a powerful movement method would he have been able to travel the cosmos after all.

If he didn’t utilize that power, he would’ve died if he just flew from the Earth to the moon.

Lu Xuan managed to catch up to the eagle king in mere moments.

Having sensed just how quickly Lu Xuan was traveling, the eagle king was utterly frightened by that unbelievable speed. Not only was Lu Xuan extremely strong and abhorrently resilient, but it became clear that Lu Xuan was also much faster than the eagle king.

After all, the eagle king’s powers relied on his frightening speed.

Such speed enabled him to zip in and out of the human world as he pleased, preventing even the fastest fighter jet developed by the humans to catch up to him in terms of linear speed alone. Furthermore, he was so agile every fighter jet paled in comparison.

That was what enabled him to bring terror all over Europe; it was the very reason why the European countries were unable to deal with him.

It took him only a split second of being dazed for Lu Xuan to overtake him altogether, waiting for him to show instead.

“Damn you, Lu Xuan! You have gone too far this time!”
