8 Singing a due (2/2)

It was both of them that said this at the same time, they stared at each other and then burst into laughter.

Sam felt very good dealing with this girl, he was a bit afraid of being betrayed since what happened with Sophia so he tried to avoid getting too close to another girl but he didn't feel the same way toward Annie, he felt naturally attracted to her. She was cheerful, kind and a very cute girl.

'It would be good if I could have her as my girlfriend, she's definitely better than Sophia but we know each other for a few days only, let's see how it happen for the moment... I don't even know if she already have a boyfriend.'

Both were seated and discussed various things for the rest of the time before class, they spoke about their youth, their siblings, their parents actually it was only her speaking about this as Sam didn't want to speak about his parents, even after 3 years it still hurt him. And then he told her about his YouTube channel and his plan to make money like this as he didn't find any suitable part time job.

”Really ? You do covers on YouTube, how about we record our duet and send it on your channel ? I've always wanted to get famous, this is my chance !”

She said while laughing but Sam felt it was actually a good idea, bringing a cute girl in would definitely attract more guys to his YouTube channel and even more when she sang this well.

”Yeah let's do it, how about this weekend ? We can go to the studio I recorded my first song to make it.”

She wasn't expecting him to accept, she never had any singing lessons or anything like this, she just liked to sing so she sang but she felt like she was still a bit worse than him, not much.

”Of course lets do this this weekend, give me your phone.”

Without thinking he gave her his phone, after a few manipulations and taking a selfie while pulling a weird face, she gave it back to him.

”I've added my phone number, there is even my picture on the contact profile so you can find me easily.”

'She's actually very playful as well...”

Sam has added another quality to this girls list of qualities.

Right when they made the appointment to meet this week end Sam checked time and they were 5 minutes late for class, she didn't have anything to pack up so after mocking him she left very fast meanwhile he was packing his guitar the fastest he could.

Finally Sam made it in class, happily for him it was a class in an amphitheater so the teacher didn't even realize someone came in late but 2 people's had seen him going in, sitting in the front were Sophia and Eric. Both looked at Sam with different expressions. Sophia seemed angry and very soon looked away, in fact Sam didn't realize that she was angry as she had the same expression ever since they had joined university, ever since then he didn't see her smile even once.

Meanwhile Eric looked at him with a knowing smile, he and his girlfriend were walking in the campus earlier when they went past Sam and Annie singing together, they had stopped and watched for awhile until Sophia couldn't take it and left.

Sam saw that smile but didn't understand what it meant so he only nodded and went toward the middle of the amphi where he found a free seat.

Once again nothing happened during the afternoon classes. When all the students left, Sophia included, Eric went toward Sam and hugged his shoulder with one arm. From an outsider's perspective they looked just like best friends.

”I knew I have asked the right person to teach me, who was that cute Asian girl ? Your new girlfriend ? Man you don't lose time, you already got a new one This soon and she's at the same level as Sophia if not better. You have to teach me !”

”I already promised so I will help you but there really is no technique...”
