10 Em is sick (1/2)
The next day, Em went to school the morning and came back home at noon.
(Author note : from primary school to high school we have class only the morning on Wednesday in France.)
After they ate their lunch they took their things and headed toward the park were Sam had done the show the last time.
After a while they made it to the same place as the last time, first he took the camera and made what he expected to be beautiful plans of the guitar and then a big zoom on the logo of the brand. After all he was shooting half a commercial for them, this will be nicely staged and put at the beginning of the video. On internet there was a rumor that said that people hated ads on their videos, actually what they hated was hidden ads, if he did it openly there shouldn't be any issue.
He then took the guitar and gave the camera to Em. Em was even more excited than him, every time she held the camera she felt like a producer on a movie shoot. She even permitted herself a few original plans, some close ups, some open plans, some plans from behind Sam where you could see the crowd. Sam realized that she was having fun using the camera so he promised himself to buy her one when he made some more money as he still needed this one for his videos.
Meanwhile Sam had found a few new songs to sing, he couldn't keep recycling the same songs over and over. Today he would start with a guitar only cover of Faded by Alan Walker, he would use this to attract the attention of people on the guitar. Then he sang Perfect by Ed Sheeran, he liked a lot the vibe that this song gave of.
People were immersed in his singing, he was immersed in his singing and Em was immersed in finding the best plans possible with the camera, she looked very cute running around him, crouching at times, going up benches at times...
After a hour of singing he was feeling tired, even though Em still seemed ready to go, he thanked the crowd for listening, packed his things and left hand in hand with Em. She didn't stop speaking about her experience, ”I did this, then that after that I thought of that and went on doing this...” she was very cute when she was excitedly jumping around.
After a moment they arrived home, when Sam wanted to warn Em that he was going out to edit the video he realized she had fallen asleep on the couch. Sam let out a smile, as long as his sister was having fun nothing else had importance. He carried her in a princess and put her on her bed, actually it was only a nap and she won't sleep for very long so he wrote on a paper 'Em I'm going out to edit the video, if you need anything use the phone to call me, be good I love you'.
After a while he arrived at the internet coffee and did his job, he started at 3pm and was done around 5 pm. His time was becoming shorter and shorter and the quality of his videos was also becoming better with a good rhythm etc... of course the work of the cameraman was just as good. She did a really good job and this video was definitely the one he was most proud of.
When he got back home Em was seated on the couch with a blanket around her, her face was red and she was breathing unusually fast. Sam instantly saw that something was wrong with her he went near her and touched her forehead.
”Big brother I think I'm sick, my head hurt and I'm dizzy.”
”Don't worry it's just a cold, come with me let's go back to your room. Are you hungry ?”
”Mmh.”
She replied while nodding her head. Actually if she felt hunger then it wasn't anything big, after eating and resting she'll feel better.
”Remember the promise yesterday ?”
”You said you'll take me to eat something good.”
She said while looking at him expectantly, how could she forget a promise that had something to do with her stomach, she didn't seem like it but she was a real gluttony,
”That's right, now let's order whatever you want to eat.”
”I want a hamburger.”
He wasn't expecting anything else, his sister was fond of hamburgers, if you gave her the choice of eating only one thing for the rest of her life she wouldn't hesitate and choose hamburgers.
