28 Preparations for the live round (1/2)

When everything was done and he was free to go Sam didn't lose time and left toward the parking, there awaited his newly acquired Porsche, before this he only saw it from the corner of his eye so he didn't know what the model was.

He got in the underground parking and that beautiful black car awaited him, it was a Porsche Carrera 911 of 1997, a vintage beautiful model.

The next day Sam didn't lose time, he looked on the net for a company that was specialized in moving vehicles as he couldn't do it himself. In fact he could but he didn't want to waste time, after awhile he found one that was famous enough for him to be sure of their reliability, he didn't want to pay them to take his car and never see it again. It wasn't rare that this happened, a car disappear and reappear a month later in a Eastern European country or even further.

He found one but first he took care of the paperwork as the car didn't belong to him officially yet. Finally after an annoying day the car was sent to Toulouse where it would wait for him to come back but before going back he still had one thing to do, for the next few days he had lot of things to do as the live episode was nearing.

He asked Rena if he could borrow the suit he modeled with for the talent show, she couldn't refuse as he had helped her first and she didn't lose anything because if someone asked where he got his suit from he could tell it's from her and that would also make her more famous.

She was also in charge of doing his make up, he really liked the look he had during the contest so he told her to do the same, the outfit with a very light makeup around the eyes and lips and that dark silver hair color.

The live episodes weren't ”unorganized” like the auditions, everybody had to make their best to shine with whatever they could. Everybody on this stage would have a good talent to show, no amateur could get past the auditions so Sam didn't take any of his contestants lightly and gave it his all, now the look and the outfit were ready he started to think about what to sing. He didn't chose a rap song this time as he wanted to surprise the judges, he had to show them multiple talents and leave them agape.

Slowly time passed as he was getting ready to go to the live auditions.

1 day.

2 days.

3 days...

And finally the fifth day was the day, today was the 7th day after the contest already.

Both Sam and Rena headed toward the new venue, as there were less contestants this time the venue wasn't the same, as he was with Rena, he didn't use his bike but used the subway as everyone else did, the Parisian subway was way wider and complicated than the Tolosan one, if Sam didn't have Rena with him he could probably stay lost in that labyrinth for a week.

They got down from the subway, went out and arrived in front of a beautiful ancient building, it looked like it must be older than the Eiffel Tower, an architectural design straight out of the 18th century. Some of the contestants Sam recognized were already going inside by a backdoor in he side alley while the spectators were admitted through the front door.

When Sam and Rena were trying to get in the guy checking the contestants pass said

”Wait, you can't go in. Only contestants are admitted, please go in through the front door, contestants family is allowed to get in for free.”

That must have happened pretty often as he didn't look surprised and just said that with the smile.

”It's fine, the make up is done I just have to dress up, you can go with the spectators.”

”Ok good luck ! You will definitely beat them all !”

She said loudly with a smile, she didn't realize it but all the other guys are girls that were behind Sam glared at him, he could feel something like a knife piercing his back.

'These guys developed the famous murderous intent I heard about in novels ?'

Finally both Sam and Rena got in through the different doors, he changed and sat down in the waiting room. This one looked way better than the one of the auditions, there were drinks and snacks but he preferred not touching them and just put his earphones to listen to the song he would sing today. He had chosen a strong song that could make people feel something as this time not only did he have to convince the judges, he also had to convince the audience in the room and the audience behind their televisions all around France, at least he was sure that his friends that would be watching tonight would vote for him.

Like usual the small HUD screen appeared in front of him with all of his informations on it.
