He remembered what Jin had told him the last time he saw him
”It's fine, come back whenever you want. Also bring Em to spend her week ends at home, Rika would die of boredom without her hahah ! ”
He picked his phone and sent a text to Annie
”Is someone in your home allergic to dogs or hate them ?”
He didn't even have time to put his phone away that she had already sent an answer
”Why do you ask this so suddenly ? Nobody is allergic to dogs by the way, we had a dog when he were kids but since he died of old age we aren't ready to adopt a new one.”
”I was just curious, I'll be coming with Em now, is it fine ?”
”Yes come ! I missed you so much ! Calls aren't enough, you have to spend more time with me from now on !”
”Hahah sorry sorry, I'll be on my way soon.”
He put his phone away and went to wake Em, he didn't want to wake her up startled so he just crouched next to the couch and whispered in her ear, as she was used to it she opened her lazy eyes slowly and looked at her arms were Soleil wasn't anymore.
She still had her eyes half closed when tears started to well inside her eyes.
”What's wrong Em ?! Why are you crying ?”
”I had a great dream big brother, I dreamed that we bought a cute puppy home. You had named him Soleil and he was so cute !”
He looked at her and realized that she really needed Soleil, he was thankful to the system for giving him this mission. He smiled while wiping her tears with his hand and said
”It wasn't a dream baby, Soleil just left to play while you were sleeping hahah.”
Finally Em opened her eyes completely and looked around the living room, she spotted Soleil's cage and started laughing, she jumped from the couch and ran to find where the small guy was hiding.
”Wait Em, go dress up we are going to Rika's place right away.”
”But I want to play with Soleil...”
”Don't worry he's coming too.”
He also went in his room and put on a white adidas t shirt under the red tracksuit and the pair of Yeezy's he had got, he looked at himself on the mirror and thought
'Yeah not bad... it's a different vibe, I should wear streatwear more often.'
Em was also dressed very fast, she couldn't wait to present her new friend to her best friend : present Soleil to Rika, she helped Soleil go into his cage and wanted to carry it but Sam grabbed it and pulled Em with his free hand, she probably couldn't lift it as the cage in itself was already pretty heavy.
