”That's so cool, Rika bring him here !”
He also wanted to play with the puppy now and since Em didn't seem like she heard Sam he yelled at his turn.
Finally the girls heard them and bought Soleil, Annie picked him went straight inside without caring about what the other thought.
”Let's go in.”
Em and Rika ran after Annie while Jin sighted and pulled Sam in, Aunt Li was sitting on the couch in the living room looking weirdly at the little girls running after the older girl that was carrying a puppy.
”Aunt Li, Good afternoon !”
”Oh Sam, hello. What is happening here ?”
”I didn't think even the old girl would become a kid when she sees him, he's my dog. His name is Soleil.”
”I see, Soleil is a beautiful name. We used to have a dog too, his name was Tarzan.”
”I've always wanted a dog so I felt like this was a good opportunity, it also make Em happier so I'm happy.”
”Rika looks very happy too, maybe we'll adoptone too if it makes her smile more, she didn't smile much since Em left, why don't you leave her here all the time ?”
”Hahah I'd love to but I'd be the one to feel lonely then.”
”You can stay too, we have free rooms. Stop being a stranger ! You are already part of the family !”
”Thanks a lot.”
He said while bowing slightly, he didn't plan on moving here, not now at least.
”Annie leave Soleil with the kids and come here.”
He said, she looked at him and wanted to give Soleil to Em when Jin stole him before she could have him. The puppy got frightened and bit Jin's thumb, not willing to throw the puppy away Jin slowly put him down and started jumping on his place while shaking his hand and yelling
”Awwwww it hurts !”
”Hahah you deserve it ! Soleil don't like you ! He likes only good people, you are a bad person !”
Rika was lagging at his misfortune while Em grabbed the puppy that was trying to run away.
”What is it ?”
Asked Annie, Sam grabbed her hand and pulled her outside of the lively living room to the corridor that linked the living room to the entrance door and the stairs to the first floor.
”Let's go on a date, let's watch a movie, eat something good and spend time together. I'll be going to the US soon so I want to have as much time as I can with you.”
”Today ? But it's already this late, I want to spend more time with you...”
She looked at him pitifully, If they went on a date today they won't have much time to spend together before the trip to the US, she would meet him there since her dad said they would also go but that was after Sam and Em and they would also leave before.
”It's the week end, we can go both today and tomorrow. I'll sleep here tonight ?”
”Really ?! Yess let's do this !”
She was so happy that she jumped into his arms and kissed him. He was the first one to see uncle Li coming down from the stairs, he gently moved Annie away and bowed to him.
He was so embarrassed he didn't dare to raise his head and his face had became completely red,he had kissed his daughter in front of him.
Annie also looked back but didn't over react like with her mom, she smiled at her dad and he smiled back at them.
”I'm going to the living room, don't mind me and continue your couple stuff.”
When uncle Li disappeared in the living room Sam lifted his head and looked questioningly at Annie
”You care being seen by your mom but don't care being seen by your dad ?”
She was such a weird girl.
”Haha if he was the first one to see us I'd be embarrassed but mom told him everything during the dinner the day you left, if he know it there is no reason to be embarrassed. He even looked happy for me, he didn't stop smiling all dinner long, I've never had a boyfriend before you you know ? Leave me the time to changed and let's go on our date !”
She never had a boyfriend ? Even if she wasn't his girlfriend he would objectively think of her as one of the most beautiful specimens he saw out there... was she just very picky about her tastes ?
