”Here is the plan, you protect the girls while I take on the guys, if one of them get through me you take him on, ok ?”

”Ok brother, you can count on me !”

Saying that Eric fell back a few steps to stand closer to Sophia and Annie, Sam took a step forward, at the moment he owned a level one skill book for both boxing and must Thai, he was almost sure that it wasn't enough against 6 guys. He opened the shop and scrolled down toward a book he had seen, after looking at the shop so much he remembered almost perfectly the order of the bottom list, he didn't bother going further as the prices became exorbitant very fast.

Between a level 5 cooking skill book and a memory fragment that was supposed to make his memory better every time he used one there was what he was looking for : a level 3 boxing skill book. He guessed that this would at least be enough to beat them up if he played his cards right. As he didn't have the level two skill book he had to pay for both of them which made the price 1100 EVs.

The time he needed to open the shop and buy what he the skill book was the same time it took him to take a step forward, the leader of the thugs group also went forward toward Sam and his minions followed behind, they were ready to fight.

Sam waited for them to take the first move, if he went in the group he would be encircled and he would probably be beaten even with a level three boxing skill book, if the enemies were stupid they would come one by one and that would make the job way easier for Sam.

He kept staring straight at the leader while he saw on his peripheral vision the minions trying to encircle him, of course they weren't stupid. He was hoping that since he was alone they would lower their guard and attack him one by one.

But this situations wasn't that bad for him since if they wanted to encircle him they had to get further away from the others, he targeted a guy on his right and explosively jumped toward him, in a second he was standing in front of him and threw a hook toward his jaw. The guy didn't have the time to understand what happened that he already fell on his knees, the nearest guy to him ran at Sam and threw a kick toward his back.

Their formation was broken, everybody had started running toward Sam. Before they had the time to encircle him he had to take down a few of them, he received the kick to his back but didn't feel much. He grabbed the leg with on hand and threw a downward punch toward the knee, this way the guy won't be able to stand up for awhile.

”Encircle him faster !”

The leader didn't expect his opponent alone to take down two of his guys so fast, he was sure that he couldn't take him down without playing dirty so he tried to get him encircled before he had the time to take down another of his guys.

What they didn't expect was that Sam could also play dirty, he looked at Eric that was standing in front of the girls looking at him with appreciation

'He became even better, when do he find the time to train ?'

When he saw Eric nodding he breathed a sigh of relief, at least they understood each other well even without discussion. While he was fighting and stalling for time he expected Eric to call the police, he also risked being taken but he didn't care, he would be freed as soon as the police heard his friend's testimony and Em was sleeping over at Annie's house, he didn't have anything to worry about.

The last four guys were already standing in front of him, they couldn't encircle him completely as he gave his back to a tree, it was annoying because he couldn't move freely but it was better than giving it to an enemy.

He was thinking how to take on hits coming from 4 guys at the same time he heard Annie's voice

”Aaaaaaah !!! Leave me alone !”
