52 Sweet revenge (1/2)

As he didn't want to lose time on the crime scene he left right away, he wouldn't get reported by the two guys because they were too afraid of him, he was sure of that and even if they did he could plead self defense.

He also left them fainted there as Eric had already called the police, they would come and find them, he didn't have to worry about them dying from their wounds.

He even had 4 witnesses so he didn't think much about it and headed toward his car, he was worried about Eric, a hit behind the head wasn't a trivial matter.

Eric was leaning on his car while holding his head, of course the pain hadn't disappeared that fast.

”Hey Eric how are you feeling ?”

”Pretty bad, that asshole hit me when I was defenseless !”

”I'll call an ambulance, we never know if there is a hidden wound that might aggravate, I have only two seats in my car and we can't leave the girls alone here it's too dangerous.”

He turned his head toward Annie and Sophia that were standing close to each other and asked

”What about you girls ?”

Sophia only nodded without lifting her head while Annie smiled and said

”I'm fine too, what about you ? You fought against so much guy at the same time !”

”Don't worry about me.”

He grabbed her hand and pulled her to check her neck where Tony had put the knife.

”The knife didn't leave any scar right ?”

”I don't think so, I've checked and there was no blood...”

She said while touching her neck, Sam finally let out a sigh that he had been holding for awhile, his stupidity had started all this, if anything had happened to Annie because of him he would have never forgiven himself.

His eyes became cold again when he thought about Tony's friends that had left, they would probably look for revenge when they see the state of their friends, he would have to act before they do it...

He turned back once again and asked

”Why was Sophia alone here and why were you so close Eric ? Did something happen ?”

Sophia's eyes became moist, she was afraid of this moment so she said

”I'm taking the metro home, you guys keep talking.”

Saying that she ran away, both Sam and Annie looked at Eric, he was following Sophia with his eyes until she turned on a big street and got out of vision, he sighed and said

”I thought about it... we both didn't have sincere sentiments. I met her today to break up but she refused to, she threw a fit and I also got angry so I just left her there... I feel pathetic, if you didn't come I could have regretted my decision forever.”

”Don't worry, they didn't know you were there, if I didn't come she would have probably left right after she had calmed down. They spotted us only when she yelled at me, anyway I think it's better this way, you are my friend so I want only the best for you. You should date a girl that you really love, not because she's beautiful.”

Annie's eyes lit up, she looked at him and thought

'You should date a girl you really love ? Not because she's beautiful ? This means he really love me ? Woaaaah my heart calm down please he's going to hear you !'

”Yeah, I changed a lot since I met you brother ! I feel like I'm becoming a better person hahah.”

”What are you saying ? You were just heading on he wrong path hahah, I guess you are felling better since you can converse and joke like this, you should spend the night at the hospital and I'll come to see you tomorrow, I don't think they'll let you leave anyway. They will have to do a lots of tests to see if you are fine.”

”Yeah I'll do that, I'll wait for the ambulance alone. You guys should be tired after what happened tonight right ? Just go and take a good rest.”

”Nope. What if the guys from earlier come back ? You can't do anything in this state we'll wait with you.”
