She was talking about Yanee walking the runway wearing the wedding kimonos at the wedding expo three days later. Yanee had long since agreed to help her out and it's not the first time she would be doing this for her. This was her way of giving her sister ȧssistance even if she knew Ami didn't really need it to be her and could easily find a model to do it.

”Hey Tohru,” she called and Tohru turned to his sister-in-law. ”Yanee will be modeling the wedding kimonos this weekend at the expo.”

”Really?”

He looked totally thrilled and Ami's gaze glinted with approval. Although she already had an idea about his personality and how he felt towards Yanee, it was only secondhand information from Chummy. Seeing as the love-struck rumors about him were true, she finally felt at ease.

It's not that she was against Yanee having a relationship again. But she was hesitant on giving her blessing immediately considering what happened to her sister years ago. However, upon learning from Chummy that Tohru James took Yanee to meet his family and friends already, she had no more reservations left except to see how they did in person.

”Yes. Would you like to watch?” Ami asked and of course, Tohru was too happy to agree.

But Ami had other ideas. ”But just watching is boring,” she commented and sure enough, both Tohru and Yanee turned to her with Yanee looking at her with suspicion.

”Big Sis, what are you planning?”Yanee asked and Ami shrugged nonchalantly as if it's nothing important.

”Nothing. I just said that simply watching is boring,” Ami repeated but Tohru seemed to have an idea of what she was implying.

”Big Sis, I'm interested to hear your suggestion,”Tohru told Ami whose grin widened.

”Well how can there be a bride without a groom,” Ami commented and the others immediately understood what she meant.

Eh?

”Ya! Big Sis, you never cared about that before. Having a groom was not in the plan,”Yanee reminded her.

In her previous participations, Yanee walked the aisle alone. There had never been a groom.

”It's not,” Ami agreed and there was a visible sadness in Tohru's eyes that almost made her laugh out loud. ”But it doesn't mean that it can't be.”

With this, Tohru beamed like an excited little boy as he looked at Ami as if she were his fairy godmother. Yanee sighed and gave up. She couldn't say no to Ami and definitely couldn't bear to see Tohru's happy face sadden. She was at a point wherein she also would like to indulge him. But…

”The event is in three days. How can you get your hands on clothes fit for him?”Yanee asked curiously and Ami now laughed.

”The wedding clothes for the groom will arrive later in the afternoon. Tohru can check them out if he's free.”

Huh?

”How is that possible? We just talked about it now?” Yanee was confused.

Ami seemed to be well prepared and then it dawned on her just as Tohru covered his mouth to stifle his laugh. It seemed he already also understood what was going on.

”You! You have been preparing for this from the start!” Yanee was a hundred percent sure of it and with Ami's laughter, there was no denying it anymore.

”Yes, I have been planning this for a week, it's why the clothes were finished and are on their way,” Ami answered.

Still it didn't make sense to Yanee.

”How do you know the clothes will fit Tohru?”

Having clothes prepared was one thing. Making sure that it would fit was another since they just met today. If they didn't fit, there was no more time to return the clothes for adjustments. Well, they could always fly or take the train to Kyoto, but that would be very expensive for Ami. Even if she had tons of money, this expense didn't make sense.

”It will fit on me, honey,” Tohru told her confidently and when Yanee frowned, his lips twitched as he turned to his still amused sister-in-law. ”I take it you talked to either my mom or Marian?” he asked and Ami stopped laughing and propped her elbow on the table.

”Actually, I talked to both.”
