Jing Suo Suo’s heart is beating so quick.
She remembers clearly the first time she started to be attracted to him.
Last year the time she realized that there’s no chance of her being with Yu Geng Xing. She was in a bad mood. Cheng Ru Yu should know that she was in a bad mood so he often asked her out to play. For whatever lively dinner gathering he will take her to go there so she starts to forget about Yu Geng Xin.
She also never thinks that she will like Cheng Ru Yu.
One day in a dinner party, there’s a son of high official that liked her. On the dining table he flirted with her. She ignored him, yet the time she went to the restroom, she was stopped and he forcefully wanted to kiss her.
She didn’t know what should she do that time, Cheng Ru Yu just clutched that man’s collar and punched him.
She was startled that time, she just watched him.
Sometimes, loving someone is just a simple thing.
“You……. I heard from Si Biao Sao (Song Xian Yu), you have someone that you like….”
Suddenly, Wen Ren Xi’s sickroom door is opened.
Jing Fen Fen comes out and looks at their hands.
She looks at them and asks: “What are you guys doing?”
Jing Suo Suo lets go of Cheng Ru Yu’s hand and says “Nothing, nothing. Xin Xin is waiting for me, I’ll leave first. Bye bye.”
Jing Suo Suo just runs away.
Cheng Ru Yu watches that woman leaves. By looking at her expression, he can guess what she wants to say.
He still can remember the warmth of her hand.
Cheng Ru Yu smiles unconsciously and looks at his own hand. He smiles happily.
“You just being held for a while, how can you be so happy?” Jing Fen Fen says coldly. “She used to like Yu Da Ge, she had held Yu Da Ge’s hand for several time. Is it worthy to make you this happy.”
Cheng Ru Yu looks at Jing Fen Fen calmly. “I’ll leave first.”
“Cheng Ru Yu!”
Jing Fen Fen’s voice makes Cheng Ru Yu stops. Jing Fen Fen looks at his figure. “You really like her? Really, you really really like her?”
Cheng Ru Yu doesn’t turn his head to look at her. “This is my own business.” Then he just leaves.
Jing Fen Fen’s face turns sour.
Jing Suo Suo takes the elevator to surgical department floor.
There are few people standing outside the operation room. There are doctors, and Jing family members. Everyone looks so serious and nervous. Jing Suo Suo notices that this is not a good thing. She goes to Ye Qing Xin’s side. “Something bad happened to Er Shu?”
Ye Qing Xin says nothing and just nods.
“Is it serious?”
“I’m not sure. They are still discussing whether to do the surgery immediately. That American doctor has arrived but he needs another half hour to come here. Now there’s a traffic jam….”
The final decision is made, they will do the surgery immediately. The surgeon doesn’t give any assurance as the risk is great. If they keep on waiting, the heart might give in.
Anyhow it’s not a good condition.
Old Mister Jing is there too, everyone is hesitating and doesn’t know what to do .
Suddenly a nurse comes out from the operating room.
“The patient’s heartbeat starts to turn weak. The other organs start to show sign of exhaustion. If you don’t do the surgery now, I’m afraid….”
“Do it!”
Suddenly Old Mister Jing makes a decision. “Yi Sheng, please be relaxed. No need to be nervous, just do your best.”
This time he thinks he shouldn’t add any pressure for the surgeon.
The form is signed and the door of the operation room is closed.
“Er Shu will be okay right?”
“He will.” Ye Qing Xin comforts.
In the single sickroom of obstetrical department.
Without knowing, Wen Ren Xi feels her heart is beating so fast. She looks at Old Madame Jing and asks: “Is he okay?”
Old Madame Jing hasn’t known that Jing Yi is doing the surgery now. She also feels a bit uncalm.
“He is okay, he will be okay.” Old Madame Jing takes out her phone and goes to outside to call. “I’ll go and call Lao Da (Jing Zong) to ask.”
“Ma……”
Pak! The door is closed.
The call is answered.
“Is Lao Er okay?”
“No. Er Di is in operation. The doctor said that the chance of success is big so you and Xiao Xi no need to worry. Everything we’ll be fine.”
