”Mingyue…”

Yang Yun caressed her hair and leaned forward to kiss her on her forehead. He immediately retreated as he heard the door swung open. When he saw that it was the doctor in charge, coming to check on his wife, Yang Yun let out a breath of relief.

He took stepped aside and watched as the doctor do her work. Once the doctor put the clipboard back beside the bed, Yang Yun went back to his position. After a few days, Yang Yun has grown tired of pestering the doctor and nurses to question them when will his wife awake.

The doctor always gave them the same answer.

Mingyue's vital signs were all good, and she was recovering well. They did not know when she will wake up. The only thing they can do is wait and let fate decide.

Seeing that the doctor did not say anything, other than the usual report, Yang Yun knew that there was no change in his wife's condition.

It has been two days since his wife lay on the hospital bed.

These days, Yang Yun had to rely on Xue Yi Ming's help to distract Lin Tian Yu before he sneaked into the ward. Or else, he would have no chance to see his wife. Lin Tian Yu was serious when she said she would not allow him to see Mingyue before she wakes up. Lin Tian Yu took a few days to leave from work just to look after her sister.

Although Yang Yun was annoyed that Lin Tian Yu was such a troublesome person, a part of him was glad that his wife has someone who cared about her in this strange world. The Lin's family… they were good people.

Yang Yun spent almost half an hour with his wife before Xue Yi Ming sent a warning that Lin Tian Yu was heading back to Mingyue's ward. In the end, Yang Yun had no choice but to retreat and promised to come back to revisit her later.

Five minutes after Yang Yun left, the door to Mingyue's ward swung open again. Lin Tian Yu came into the room, and the first thing she did was to look at her sister. Seeing that there was not a change in her condition, Lin Tian Yu could only sigh with distress.

She sat up and looked around the room only to find that there was no one beside her. Instead of pushing the button to call up the nurse, Mingyue went to grab the clipboard to see the report.
