42 Chapter 42 Help me (1/2)

(Jade POV)

Watching him jump down from the wall made my heart start to beat a hundred miles a minute. At first I thought he had given up and wolf was taking over but then the earth shook and those ants came out of the ground. The ants started to slaughter the gremlins as if they were killing chickens. I couldn't help but be amazed at these death machines and thought back to the story of three hundred were brave spartan warriors held their ground against the mighty persian army.

My squad was completely quiet, no I should say everyone was completely quiet. I could hear the ants chomp down through flesh and bone, the scream of wolf and gremling, then finally I heard Erik roar out to charge. My blood started to boil as I ran down the wall with everyone else, weapon in hand charging towards the enemy that has suppressed us for the last few days. All that fear, desperation, and hopelessness was turning into red hot angry coursing through my veins.

All our training for to be discipline was wasted on us apparently because besides not stepping all over each other we were just a bunch of men and women rushing towards the enemy line. When I finally got a hundred meters away I finally slowed down to a walk and started to fire my assault rifle again. With the way the gremlin calvary towered over the ants we could aim high and not have to worry about friendly fire. I guess I set off a trigger because once I started firing everyone in front seemed to remember they had a gun and followed my lead. Now that we were so close our accuracy increased through the roof.

Fifty meters, twenty five meters, ten meters, I stopped. Almost out of ammo but the gremlins are on their last leg. Most of the wolves and their riders have been killed, either shot or bitten to death. The remaining gremlins from before had looks of fear and desperation on their faces. Suddenly one started to run for its life, then another and just like a floodgate opening a wave of yellow started to retreat. There seemed to be less than five hundred left of the original few thousand.

I stopped firing and looked around and took in the scene. Blood, carnage, broken bodies, these sights filled my field of vision. I took in a deep breath and smelt copper mixed in with gun powder and sweat. I could feel my body turning hot, almost like boiling water started to make its way around my body. I couldn't take it anymore, I need relief from this burning desire.

I quickly search around and see him, standing in front of the ants finishing off the living gremlins that somehow survived. I start walking towards him. With the battle over the ants were slowly retreating underground which helped me pass through their line. Erik seemed to sense my approach because he turned around and looked at me. His body was painted a deep red. Once I was right next to him I could smell his scent, it was different from the scent of battle, I don't know how or why but it made me lose what little control I had.

(Erik POV)

Looking back I am glad Jade is safe, she is one of the things I was really worried about throughout this battle. I couldn't help but wonder if she would be one of the casualties and that scared me a little. It took everything I had to not order her to stay in the infirmary with her sister. For one I knew she wouldn't listen to me and somehow find herself on the battlefield anyways and on the other hand I knew she would never forgive me for taking away her right to chose her own path. From what I heard of her story since I have been gone she has done everything she can to be able to pick her own path.

Watching her come over though I couldn't help but feel something was off. Maybe it's just the adrenaline still coursing through my body or just my cautious nature but she seems a little different from usual. I smile as she walks up to me and go to pat her head but she grabs my wrist.

”Jade?”

She moves my arm to the side and hugs me tightly. I could feel her chest which has grown since she was a kid pressed against me. She seemed to almost be trying to wrap her body around mine.

”Jade are you ok? What's the matter?”

Finally she grabs my collar and I let her pull my head down so she could wispear into my ear.

”Erik I'm so hot. Please help me. I can't hold back any longer. I want you.”

I was surprised and at first thought that she might have been poisoned but by the end I knew what she wanted. When she let go of my collar and moved her hand to grab what was between my legs was just the final straw. I could feel the heat radiating off her body. I look at her face that was flushed a attractive pink and felt my myself giving into her desires. The image of her sister flashes through my head.

She seemed to know what went through my mind because she wrapped a hand around my neck and kissed me. I could feel her tongue start to wrap around mine with a sweet taste. We was out of breathe when she stopped and pulled back a little.
