Chapter 116 A Weird Blind Date (2/2)
Qin Haodong shook his head again. He did have deposit in the bank, but it was over ten million, not one.
”How long have you started your career? Why don't you have none of those things?”
Obviously, Zhang Mei had lost her patience and she didn't even try to hide her dissatisfaction.
Qin Haodong thought to himself that Grandma Wang was such a careless match-maker. She didn't even tell his basic information to others. He explained, ”Oh! I'm studying in Jiangnan Medical College. There's still one year for me to graduate and find a job.”
The woman's expression eased down when she heard he was a student in the Medical College, because he may be able to earn plenty if he can graduate and become a doctor. So, she asked, ”What's your major?”
”Traditional Chinese Medicine.” Qin Haodong said.
”What? You majored in Traditional Chinese Medicine in a Medical College? What are you going to do after graduation? How much can you earn? What are you going to live on?”
Qin Haodong's answer irritated Zhang Meili. Questions kept popping out of her mouth, and she looked like she had been badly hurt.
The silent middle-aged woman was irritated too. She yelled at Qin Haodong, ”Why do you come to this date if you don't have anything? How can you be a match of my beautiful girl if you don't have nothing at all!”
Qin Haodong did not care about the result of the blind date at all. He smiled and said, ”Beautiful girl? I can't find anything beautiful in here except her name. (TL's note: Meili means beautiful in Chinese).”
”You...”
The middle-aged woman glared at Qin Haodong with hatred and said, ”What are you?” ”You deserve dying alone!”
After that, he held the young woman's hand and left without even looking back. Qin Haodong's first blind dare failed, but he was smiling proudly. He wished that he could finish the other two weddings as soon as he could.
Soon it was the time to blind-date the second girl. The girl was named Huang Xiaojuan. She was more punctual than Zhang Meili, and she was more beautiful than most girls, but she was also arrogant.
Huang Xiaojuan looked at Qin Haodong and said, ”You look fine. At least you won't disgrace me if I take you out. We should have a try.”
Qin Haodong was slightly surprised for she had agreed so easily. So, he asked, ”Why don't you ask if I have a house, a car, or any bank deposit?”
”I have my own house, car, and deposit. I don't need to ask you for it.” The girl answered, ”But I have some requirements, and we can't start the relationship unless you agree with all of them.”
Qin Haodong felt quite interested when he found Huang Xiaojuan wanted no money, no cars, and no deposit. He asked, ”Then tell me, what are your requirements?”
”To be honest. I'm already pregnant. You need to treat my kid like your own, no matter it's a boy or a girl. You shall not beat, swear, or yell at him or her.”
Qin Haodong was surprised at the who man who was pregnant but still insisted to come to the blind date. Seeing she wouldn't stop talkig, he intterupted him and said, ”So you wanted me to respect them like my masters?”
”That's pretty much what I mean.” Huang Xiaojuan said, ”I knew this might be hard to accept for a man, but I can pay you. And you can spend as much as you want.”
Qin Haodong was so embarrassed because the woman was such a freak. He refused it and said, ”I can't accept that. You can ask somebody else.”
Huang Xiaojuan seemed to be unwilling to give up. She added, ”Why can't you accept it? That's a nice deal. You'll have beautiful wife and a kid. You can become a father after we get married.”
Qin Haodong said, ”Let's drop the 'beautiful wife' part. My grandpa has been telling me that one should reap if he hasn't sown. I think I should do all things on my own, especially when it comes to marrige and reproduction.”
”Hum! How ungrateful!”
Huang Xiaojuan glared at Qin Haodong and left the coffee shop in anger.
Qin Haodong felt his forehead. He was really impressed by the two strange women came in succession. He felt himself lucky to have only one more. He would try to get through with all this, and he had to take Lin Momo home tomorrow.
He waited for almost an hour, and the four date finally made her way here. According to grandma's reference, the girl's name was Liu Fangfang. She was much more beautiful than the former two. She wore short hair, and looked tiny. She was tall, at least 1.7 meters. She was in nice shape, with huge boobs and big hip.
Liu Fangfang was polite enough. He smiled at Qin Haodong at first, and asked in a nice manner, ”Hello, I'm Liu Fangfang, are you Qin Haodong?”
Qin Haodong felt more comfortable when he saw the beautiful and polite girl. He thought to himself that he finally met a normal date.
He nodded and said, ”That would be me. I'm now a senior in Jiangnan Medical College, majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I don't have cars, houses or over-a-million deposit.”
Qin Haodong was in a hurry to finish the blind date, so he poured out all his personal conditions all at a time before the girl asked to save some time. He wished that Liu Fangfang could be like Zhang Meili, that she would stand up and leave, then he could go back home, too.
Unfortunelately, Liu Fangfang didn't react much. He smiled and said in a low voice, ”That's great!”
”Really? I thought nowadays the girls all want cars and houses.” Qin Haodong said, feeling quite surprised.
