Qin Haodong chose a suitable position between the VIP seats and the stage, so that he could watch what was going on on the stage and wouldn't influence other audiences.
At the moment, a man and a woman came in, sitting right next to Qin Haodong.
The woman was about twenty. She looked slim with shoulder-length hair. Her skirt barely covered her hips. She was grabbing an LV purse. She looked pretty with her heart-shaped face, but the make-up on her face was too heavy, which had covered her original beauty.
The man was in his thirties. He looked short and fat, with a big belly. He might not even be able to saw his own ”stuff” when he took a leak.
The guy was wrapped in designer brands which looked quite expensive. He had three big diamond rings and a million-dollar Omega golden watch on his wrist. He was holding the woman in his right arm and his left hand was trying to feel every inch of her lap. That was a typical old goat.
The two were sitting and flirting like no one else was around. At the moment the woman raised her head and saw Qin Haodong in the corner. She screamed out, ”Is that you?”
Qin Haodong turned to the voice and saw the woman's face. The memory of this body's last owner emerged in his mind.
A year ago, Qin Haodong held a large bouquet of red rose, standing in front of Liu Yuqing, saying in excitement, ”I love you, Yuqing. Please be my girlfriend!”
Liu Yuqing's reaction was out of Qin Haodong's expectation. She glared with a resentful expression like she had been insulted. Then she said hysterically, ”Qin Haodong, seriously? People like you dare to confess your love to me?!”
Qin Haodong was recognized as the most handsome guy at the college. He was a top student, and was quite proud of himself. He was totally dumbfounded when Liu Yuqing turned him down. He stayed there and had no idea what he should do.
Liu Yuqing and he were classmates. The two had lots of common interests and they talked a lot. Sometimes they made private jokes.
He thought they would work it out before, and all it would take was a confession. It had never occurred to him that things would end up like this.
Seeing Qin Haodong, dumbfounded, Liu Yuqing asked disdainfully, ”You're pursuing me? Do you even have an apartment in Jiangnan City?”
Qin Haodong shook his head and answered, ”No!”
”Do you have a BMW?”
”No!”
”Over one million deposit?”
”No!”
”Then what makes you think you can pursue me?” Liu Yuqing said with pride, ”A rich guy was pursuing me right now. He had more than 100 million and more than ten apartments in Jiangnan City. How are you his match? Who will you choose if you're in my position?”
Qin Haodong said, ”Yuqing, relationships are about love, why are you being so snobby？”
Liu Yuqing said, ”I'm a beautiful woman. Beauty to women is like wealth to men. It's a gift. Now that I was endowed with the gift, I should make full use of it and make plans for my future.”
Qin Haodong gradually realized it and he finally saw through the beautiful and innocent woman. She was quite a snob and would never care about his feelings and self-esteem.
He raised his hand and tossed the roses into the trash can on the curb. Then he said coldly, ”Liu Yuqing, I think love is more important than money no matter how. You can always earn money, but you can never buy love.”
”Don't despise a young man. I wasn't born rich, but I can make myself rich.”
Liu Yuqing sneered and said, ”You think that will be easy? People like you can't possibly be rich, not in this life!”
Qin Haodong smiled lightly after he recalled that. He thought he was so bad-taste before, and wondered why would he bare his love to such a woman.”
Qin Haodong's mood no longer swung when he saw the snobby woman again. He said lightly, ”Liu Yuqing, what a surprise.”
The fat guy looked at Qin Haodong and his expression turned cold. Women got jealous, so did man when every time they saw other men that were more handsome than themselves, especially the guy was too much handsome, and seemed to have an affair with his woman.
He asked, ”Yuqing, who is he?”
Liu Yuqing explained in haste, ”Don't overthink about it, honey. He was just one of my pursuers, but I turned him down. He lost me to you.”
”Oh! He is that poor guy that you ever told me who didn't even know how poor he was!”
The fat guy's expression eased down after he heard Liu Yuqing's explanation.
Qin Haodong was a little bit pissed off, and his expression turned cold, too. The woman had crossed the line. They were classmates anyway. It was unnecessary to despise him to flatter her man.
Liu Yuqing had seen Qin Haodong's expression change. She asked disdainfully, ”What? Am I wrong? The rightest thing I've ever done in my life was denying you and choosing Ziming, or I might be living a poor life with you now.”
