24 Chapter 24: Talk? (1/2)

Next day, Usui awakened and felt his body sore from all the activities he did last night. He touched his wound and tried to flex his shoulder joints and was glad that his wound cured completely.

But, he could feel his body weak in mana which confused him so he looked around and found the culprit: Black Thunder. And, apparently, the sword knew it was caught as a small glint passed through the blade like it was mocking Usui.

Usui's brows twitched on seeing his sword gloating that he slapped himself, 'I shouldn't have bought this sword. This damn sword just keeps draining my mana.'

”Did you just call me a damn sword?” an arrogant voice echoed in the room.

Shocked, Usui looked around the room while he grasped his sword ready for an attack but saw no intruder.

Usui murmured, 'That's strange... Where did I hear the voice from?'

He relaxed a little thinking that he dreamed about the voice and shook his head. But, when he stood up and took a step forward, he swayed and kneeled down.

He clenched his fists angrily as he shouted, ”This ******* sword !!!!!”

He pinched his glabella in fury as he thought of attending the battle in his weak state. He wouldn't have had this problem as he could just meditate and regain all his strength but now with the way his body was... Sigh!

He grabbed his sword and was about to throw it in anger when he heard the same arrogant voice, ”Throw me and I will make sure to chop you million times in your sleep.”

Shocked, he looked at the sword and saw a glint on the blue crystal.

”Wait... Black Thunder? you can talk?” he looked at the sword ridiculously.

Since he didn't hear a response soon, he shook his head as he got up and sat on the bed and thought, 'Stupid, how can a silly mana-absorbing sword talk?'

”What?! Black Thunder? And how dare you call me stupid, you stupid human?” the annoying voice shouted.

Usui looked at his sword in surprise, ”Wow. I have a talking sword. If the public comes to know this, they would call me crazy.”

The voice asked again, ”How dare you name me, Black thunder?”
