13 Unavoidable figh (1/2)

Both approached them, as it was dark already they couldn't see what they looked like, all they could see were dark silhouettes holding long metal pipe like things. One of them was trying to open the driver's door while two other were hiding him back to back and checking if somebody came closer.

”Hey what the **** are you doing to my car ?!” Eric didn't think and threw himself at them while Sam wanted to hold him and plan something but it was too late as they had already seen them, the two guards walked toward them while holding their weapons.

Eric then realized that the situation was more dangerous than he expected, he backed off to stand near Sam and said

”Will you help me ?”

”Sure but you shouldn't have screamed at them, we could have got them by surprise.”

”Yeah I'm sorry I panicked...”

”No problem let's just hold on for a bit I already called the police.”

Actually when Sam saw Eric running toward them he called he cops very fast, they should be here in less than 10 minutes.

”You better leave very fast, we don't mind breaking a leg or two if you guys refuse...”

Said one of the thugs, now he was under a streetlight so they could see what he looked like, he was dressed in a black attire from top to bottom and was wearing a scarf to hide his face, the only informations they could gather about him was that he was around 180cm tall (5 feet 10) and that he had blonde hair.

”That's my friends car, why don't you leave fast before the police arrive ?” Said Sam, he guessed he could fight them but he didn't want to risk getting injured as they were holding weapons so he first tried to scare them away.

”Haha we will get done with you and take the car away before the police arrive, the nearest police station is at least 15 minutes away, that's not than enough.”

Said the second thug, he was almost dressed the same as his friend but he had a face mask to hide half his face, this one was shorter than his friend by 5 cm so both he thugs were shorter than Sam and Eric, being tall didn't mean much in a fight but it would give you a small advantage.

Actually Sam and Eric didn't have to be rushed, all they had to do was to gain time but then the thug in the back said

”I'm almost done just give me a minute ! ”

Eric started to panicked he looked at Sam and said

”Let's beat the 2 in the front and then the one in the back!”

”Fine let's do this, be careful they are armed...”

'So it's unavoidable huh...'

Sam took a step toward the blond guy, the guy swiped the metal bar toward Sam's stomach, Sam took a step back and came back when the bar missed him, the bar came back very soon from the other direction, this time toward his head. He ducked a bit and threw a punch toward the guy's stomach, the strength behind the punch was enough to make him throw up so the guy dropped his weapon and took out a knife from his back pocket.

Sam was expecting this, a metal bar wasn't enough to scare of anybody so very often these thugs liked to hide knives. Sam took a few steps back and got ready to go again but then he heard a voice in his head.
