”Sam didn't sing a cover, he came up with an original tonight.”

Her face became red while she looked at him, she had embarrassed herself in front of so much people because he left her believe that he sang a cover. By answering her ”guess” when she asked ”who did you cover this time” he actually indirectly agreed to the fact that he did a cover, she said

”Did you do it on purpose ?”

Some of the contestants that had followed the drama between them of course understood what she meant, they also thought that he did it on purpose but they found in funny, she deserved to be embarrassed after being so arrogant.

”What do you mean ?”

Sam answered with a cunning smile, of course he did it on purpose, that would teach her how to not be arrogant again.

”Finally the champion is : Sam Petit with 49% of the votes, congratulations ! I don't have much advices for you as I don't think that I'm much better than you are, with experience you'll probably reach heights that I haven't reached.”

Finally Sam was freed from the pressure he was feeling, of course he knew he would win but he still had that little voice in his head that kept saying ”what if, what if...” it was always like that, there was no reason to be but he still felt nervous.

Everybody stood up, be it the judges or the audience and they clapped as hard as they could, finally the champion of this season was decided, in their homes his friends were also cheering as hard as they could once again.

The MC that had disappeared sometime came back holding a big check with Sam's name on it. This was the sum the wonder would get he was aiming for : 100 000€, he took it happily, everything he did since he left home was for this, this would permit him to open up new paths in his career.

”Congratulations Sam, may I ask what you plan on doing with the money ?”

Said the judge that had became a fan of Sam, this was also part of the show. They always asked the champion what he planned to do with the money and often they would answer something like ”I'll give a part of it to caritative associations” or whatever to keep it to themselves in the end, Sam wasn't the kind to talk shit like that, if he was going to do it he would say it but he didn't plan on doing it, maybe when he will have way more money but for the moment he was planning his future with this money.

”It's summer vacations soon, I'll take my little sister with me to travel, probably to the US, there are better opportunities there, I might stay for awhile.”

”What about you parents ? Are you leaving them here ?”

Of course they would ask the question, it was a weird answer for a young man, you normally took either everybody in the family or nobody and went alone or with friends, the judge didn't mean it badly, he just felt like it was weird so he asked instinctively with a smile.

”Humm... it's just me and my sister alone, both my parents passed away a few years ago.”

”Oh.. I'm sorry I didn't mean to.”

”It's fine I know you didn't hahah.”

Sam replies with a smile but observant people could see sadness in that smile, he wasn't as fine as he pretended to be.

Finally after a bit more chatting with the winner, he was sent back in the waiting room where he changed very fast and joined Rena outside of the venue.
