40 Thank me properly (2/2)

They started kissing more passionately when they heard a laugh from outside the kitchen, Annie pushed Sam away and saw Jin walking away from there, he had just turned around and didn't leave, Sam looked at him too but Jin wasn't looking at them and kept walking away.

'You spoilt everything, couldn't you just leave after seeing it ? I'll get my revenge one day...'

”Did he see us ?”

Annie whispered, she was hiding her face using her hands but Sam could see that she was embarrassed by her ears that were as red as tomatoes.

”I think he did...”

”No he didn't, if he did I'll be too embarrassed to face him for the rest of my life !”

Finally she took of her hands from her face and looked at Sam, she was still blushing and she said

”We have free rooms for guests, you should stay here tonight and you can go tomorrow. Driving at night is dangerous and you drove all the way from Paris earlier today, you must be dead tired.”

”No no I'm fine, I don't want to bother you more !”

She gave him an elbow hit on the belly, she blushed even more than she was already and said

”I'll tell it to my parents myself, you stay here. I'll ask Jin to lend you a pajama.”

She left in a hurry, and headed straight to the living room. She told her parents from afar

”Papa, Mama, Sam will sleep in the guest room tonight. He's tired from the trip from Paris and driving home at night is dangerous.”

Her dad nodded without looking back and her mom started giving her instructions on how to arrange the room but she didn't wait even a second and sped toward Jin's room, she pushed open he door and closed it right away behind her.

Jin was siting on a couch facing a giant TV while playing a cowboy game that she didn't recognize, she went behind him and gave him a light slap on the back of his head, then she grabbed his ear and said

”What did you see ? Don't lie to me !”

”Aïe aie aie it hurts ! Stop it please, I swear I didn't see anything !”

”Remember what you said today, you didn't say anything.”

Saying that she went into his closet and started looking for a pajama for Sam.

”What are you doing there ?”

He didn't release the game controller and asked while playing.

”Looking for a clean pajama, Sam will sleep here tonight.”

He looked at her while she was also looking at him and threw her a ”knowing” smile, she grabbed a pair of Nike Air Jordan's that was on a shelf in his closet and threw it at him.

He didn't hesitate, threw the game controller and jumped to grab it while yelling

”Don't ! That's worth at least 10 000 dollars !”

He landed head first while holding the shoe in this hands, looked at her, in his eyes there was still fear and said

”I'm sorry, slowly put down the second one please. It's a limited edition.”

She put down the shoe, took what she came for and went back into the kitchen, she didn't look like the bully she was a second ago anymore and acted like a shy girl now.

”This is a clean pajama you can sleep with it tonight, your room is also ready. It's right next to Jin's rooms I'll take you there, if you need anything during the night you can knock on his door and ask him.”

”Thanks again.”
